So this is the second time here and the experience was bad... we waited 10 minutes to get our drink order, then another 10 to get them. 10 min later the waitress takes our order. I then told her if she could lower the music since it was so loud we couldn't even hear each other talk. She said I'll tell them to lower it. Another 20 min music still loud, told her again and she said i haven't told them.... I get up and go to the front and ask for the manager and person i asked was the manager, she said I'll get it lowered. 5 min later its finally lowered and we can hear each other talk now. Another 25 min and we finally get our food but no tortillas and they messed up on my boss's plate ( which explains the loud music) so back they went with whatever they brought that he didn't order, shrimp cocktail came 15 mins after the food but i didn't get mine. So 20 mins later my boss gets his plate so he tells her i need it to go... and still no cocktail. I then told her to make it to go as well. Some singer comes to do karaoke and raises the volume again and starts acting a fool and cussing. Never...
Read moreI have been eating here for a couple years when I am in town for work. The food has always been good! They stay busy but sometimes the service doesn't match the quality of food. However, I recently visited Pecos for personal reasons the day before Mother's Day and was greeted with a rose and Apple Sangria. We got there a little bit before the lunch rush. Our waitress was very attentive and nice. It was a different experience as far as service goes. They updated their menu, which was exciting. Especially, when you have been going there for awhile. We had the Frackin Fries, Birria Tacos, an American Burger and Hawaiian Burger. Everything was delicious! The American burger could have been bigger for the price. The atmosphere: the decor and lighting are awesome. It reminds me of a restraurant in South Padre. Great vibe! However, it is hard sometimes to hear the people at your table over the music. I do not recommend for a business lunch or dinner unless it is not a serious meeting. But overall King Shark has great food and a fun vibe. Definitely a place to try at least...
Read moreUp front I don't like giving bad reviews, but I don't like wasting my time or money on subpar goods even less. The environment is awful: too loud, the decor was all over the place with random flowery things hanging from the ceiling, odd Asian themed hanging lanterns, a random hung bicycle... very confusing theme. The menu was VERY limited: nothing was specifically Mexican food or seafood but a random mix or "add shrimp" to anything. The prices were absolutely insane!!! $16 for a very bad shrimp quesadilla, $54 for a 20 oz steak, most of the menu averaging about $20 a plate for what you could get almost anywhere better and half the price, the drinks are BY THE CAN AND $3.50 EACH!!! The wait staff didn't seem to really care that a table of 9 was sitting around waiting for 45 min for our meal and only came by twice. It was by far one of the worst places I've been in a long time and wouldn't recommend it to anyone other than to...
