Tonight I ordered the $7.99 large pizza deal with 3 toppings x 2. Upon placing the order over the phone, I was informed that the store was out of mushrooms and onions. This is not the first time I have had this issue. So once I arrived at the store. I walked in to be greeted by a store employee. He asked "how are you tonight?" I replied" Not Good!" The employee gave me an evil stare that even my son responded to with angst. I said to the employee." Please don't look at me like that, I know you were expecting me to say Good!" So I proceeded to ask him if I could talk to a Manager. As he washed his hands, he replied "I am the Assistant Manager and I only work 2 days a week, I am so tired of YOU PEOPLE coming in here like I am purposely not giving you mushrooms. I said" Wait a minute, First of all, I am not a YOU PEOPLE, I am a customer, I also am a Manager and it is important to listen to your customers in order to get results and resolutions. He refused to continue talking or to even suggest an alternative to the issue. When I pulled up to pick up my pizza, my children were in the back sleeping. I went into deep thought regarding how I would grab all of them out of the truck to get the pizza haha. As I sat outside stuck, a young African American gentleman/employee walked up to my truck and asked me what I ordered. I told him and let him know that I hadn’t paid yet. I asked if he was comfortable swiping my card. He was, so he did. He came back out because he had to make a delivery and told me that a young Caucasian gentleman/employee would bring my pizza and card outside. He did! The reason I waited was to see if the order would be correct and to my liking each time and of course it has been which prompted me to write. I don’t know what training as far as pizza making and customer service you all go through at this franchise but this location has it down pack! I can tell they take pride in making orders correctly. I gladly drive about 10 miles everytime (past a location that’s literally right outside of my housing development) just to order from this location. It’s truly worth the ride.
