Good food, Horrible service! This review should be a 5 star review and if it was solely based on the food alone it would be a 5 star review, but the customer service from the delivery driver was enough to bring my rating down to 2 stars. My wife and I were looking for a new Chinese delivery restaurant and found Hong Kong Tokyo, we were excited! I called before placing an order to make sure that we were in their delivery area and we were. The horrible customer service began the second the driver knocked on our door. It took us only a few seconds to get to the door, but he (the delivery driver) was already half way back to his car. When he saw us open the door he threw his arms up in the air in what looked like disgust. He then made the long 5 yard walk back to our door and said with attitude, "this drive was a trip! ". When we apologized for the inconvenience he said with true bratty millennial attitude. "whatever!" Then he pretty much threw the food at my wife. I can truly say he was the worst and rudest delivery driver I have ever encountered, and folks that is saying a lot as I have lived my entire life in Dade and Broward counties. With all that being said, the food...
Read moreFood is okay. But the service is disgusting. The people that work there are extremely rude to the point where a woman behind the register, snatched the money out of my hands when I was paying. They are lucky my daughter loves their fried rice. I returned and the front girl, taking the order was very rude, lake of manners. It seems like the people there do not care how their customers are treated. Also, I was told there are live roaches in that restaurant. I will never go there again. I may call the health department.
You'd think I'd learn my lesson. Lol I moved out of the area for a few years. I recently returned and bought fried rice here. I anticipated the lady(owner?) behind the counter to have a better attitude. Some things never change. Her attitude was the worst. I paid almost $30 for my food and she expected a tip. It was obvious she wasn't happy that I didn't leave a tip, she was talking to a gentlemen and blatantly looking at me and pointing at me. I also noticed the plaza had been painted. I assumed the restaurant was remodeled. Absolutely not. The restaurant is filthy. I will not go back. I mean that this time. That place should...
Read moreWhat's really important is not only having great Chinese food but having great customer service experience as well. You won't find any quality interaction which I believe is with the owner. When entering there is no hello or smile or any type of eye to eye contact with her. She won't even look at you and is too busy with other things on her mind. The feeling you get: place the order, give me your money, and get the hell out of my store NEXT. I don't care how good the food is it will make you not want to come back and order again. You can place a larger order and have to beg for mustand, duck sauce, and soy sauce. This woman is just plan miserable, rude, unfriendly and cold. You might think this is how Chinese people act. Not true I have few Chinese friends born in China and Hong Kong and they have a beautiful personality warm and are nice to be around. Dealing with the public and having a store with providing great customer service is very important now than ever after the pandemic. You will not want to come back here and find another place. If I could have given 0...
