Only ordered today because I got the new menu stating it's new owners. Since the junkies aren't there anymore decided to try it again. Great customer service. Big difference from previous owner and staff since they were completely rude, especially the owner, and they could never get an order right. New staff was amazing. Ordered 2 subs and poutine. Poutine was awesome. Gravy separate makes a huge difference. Best I've ever had actually. Subs however... I'm very picky about subs since I've worked for pizza shops my entire life. The thing that separates one shop from another is sub construction. New owners should learn to build a sub that a customer can actually eat. #1 no one can fit an entire sub in their mouth, so when you put all the condiments and veggies only at the very bottom of the bread, you force your customer to eat the sub in sections. No one wants a whole bite of ketchup mayo and veggies. Then there's that inch of meat them 2 inches of lettuce on top. So one bite of lettuce, then one bite of meat, then the soggy bite. #2 when you build it this way, the bottom gets wicked soggy and the bread breaks so the sub is a lose... Don't be that pizza shop guys... Condiments, (on sides of bread) then meat and cheese (layered on the sides) then veggies. Also wanted to add. The driver apparently feels like he should be tipped %50 the cost of the order. Food came to $28, I gave him $40 and he really stood there waiting for me to say goodnight. After an awkward 60 seconds of silent eye contact he literally asked me "what... Do you want some change back or.....?" um..... Well I live 1 min up the street and don't think a $12 tip is called for so um.... Should we have to really ask the driver for change back?...
Read moreSeptember 19, 2019-- Again we tried ordering 5 simple subs. All 5 were made wrong. Now not only were they all made wrong, but when we called to make a complaint I made sure that I asked for the owner. The owner says that this is new worker taking the orders. Well according to our receipt the food was ordered properly, but who ever is preparing the food can't read English, seems funny that the owner himself sucks at English. He says all he'll do for 5 bad sandwiches is take off $10 on a next order. He also claims that he has only owned the store for 1 month. I told him another bad review was being posted. PLEASE DON'T ORDER FROM HERE IF YOU WANT GOOD FOOD.
We had been ordering food from here for years and loved everything. Until recently which we found out new owners have taken over. The food quality has fallen off from even being fair. A couple of times they have gotten our orders wrong. They use to have the best haddock dinner I've had anywhere, now there is no care in it. The sandwiches are now untasteful and now served in a foam box. The bread taste old. Their pizza use to be good, but they either are burning or not cooking the dough. Unless the new owners learn to make food with passion and taste I don't think I will...
Read moreI will NEVER go there again I went there last night at 9 PM gave them my order for 3 lg subs a large ff and a chicken caeser(chicken on the side) it took them 45 min to give my order to me the New owner gave me a slice of cheese cake because it took so long( ok he's trying) I get home with my order the chicken was not on the side (ok no big deal) I have large subs 1 small sub (with only mayo lettuce and pickles on it) I called the place to let them know about the mistake they and then after we got into our meals the ff were old greasy and cold the steak and cheese was old and cold and my salad just lettuce with no caeser dressing.. after an hr after I called back because we never got the other sub and I told them I would go down ad get it myself I went down and got it and they told me that it was on the way to my house.. I went home and still after 12 hrs I am still waiting for my sub The owner did how ever refund me my money which is a good thing but I still will not be going there again I wish the old owners (Tony and his wife)were still there.
