Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Pembroke

Today I had the pleasure of meeting the Store Servicer Joseph Evans. I usually order and get my food to go but I ate in today. The crew for the most part are in decent to good moods but have that yeah I'm ready to go home look like most have on their faces at times. However, that was not the case today. As soon as Joe walked in he changed the vibe. He immediately introduced himself to a new employee that was having his lunch break at a table nearby and proceeded to head behind the counter. Salutations were giving and he dove right in. He started singing, an enjoyable low tune, while taking orders and also conversing with the customers. You could see the mood on the other staff members faces become even more joyous. As the new employee completed his lunch break I heard a bit of conversation between himself and Joseph about making the most out of the day and your job and making sure that you take the time to enjoy what it is that you do. I couldn't agree more and I salute Joseph for how he conducts himself and for how he trains the Jersey Mike's employees!! BTW, my sandwiches are always overflowing...

It's a hit and miss with this place. When it's a hit the subs are good. When it's a miss, for me it's because they don't put enough meat on the sub. There are times when I've ordered a giant steak and cheese or cold cut sub and the meats are so scarce I have to take the meat off one half of my sub and put it on the other half just to have enough meat for half a sandwich. The toppings are always fresh and they always get my order right. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the inconsistency in the sub quality. Jersey Mike's subs are way too expensive for them to ever skimp on the amount of meat to the point where you're paying for a giant size sub and end up with only a regular size by the time you combine one half with...

Normally I am very pleased but today was not the case. I placed my order online yesterday for my team holiday lunch, even had someone call to verify, we get there at the designated time and guess what my order had not been touched. The staff found the order ticket and literally just looked at each other as if they did not know what to do, so now we are waiting for the sandwiches that were already suppose to be prepared and there was not a bit of empathy shown. Maybe next time...
