Arby's — Restaurant in Penn Hills

This is ridiculous. Arby's was supposed to close for remodeling for 3 to 4 weeks. This was 5 weeks ago and they are nowhere near ready to reopen. The parking lot is a mess. There is no drive though menu board. The outside is not finished and cannot see inside but I can only imagine how bad it is. I stopped and asked one of the workers when they would finish...he no speak no English. I found one who did and he said honestly it could be awhile. The company doing the work obviously has no idea what they are doing. Especially considering they almost burned the place down and electrocuted the Arby's employees before they closed the drive through. I don't know who made the decision to hire this company but you made a big mistake. If you own this location I'm sure us locals would like an update. I called corporate and they didn't have a clue. I also want to express my sympathy for the employees there. They were supposed to be back to work and have to feed their families and I know they are not being provided any compensation for the loss of income. I never had a problem with this place until yesterday. I chose to go to Arby's, because I had physical coupons from the mail. I was told my coupon was expired. No one looked at the coupon, they just said it wasn't usable. (I was in the drive thru.) The expiration was 03/31/2022. Did I time warp?! After I realized I was going to pay $11+ for some mediocre fast food (which keep in mind Arby's was only selected due to coupons.) Without the coupons, this food is pretty overpriced. I drove out of the line all the way to Popeye's in Duquesne. I was going to pay $11+ for one combo and a kids meal at Arby's. With the coupons from Popeyes, I was able to get 2 full adult sized combo meals with an extra side, and I felt that I got much more value, even with driving 20 minutes out of the way. I rember eating here alot when i used to work across the street at the midas muffler great place to go if you need your car fixed fast and you have deep pockets but as i remberd all the food i orderd looked just like the pitcher not all places are able to serve food that looks like the pitcher excuse me McDonald's but its true and the dining room was allways clean i dont use public restrooms but a few times i had to make a mad dash to the bathroom and was suprized on how clean it was and you never had to ask can you put some sope in ther like i always do at excuse me McDonald's so i realey enjoy all the difernt items on the menu and how they come up with new ideas i just cant say enough about the place and the employes are Great so if your looking to quite your hunger with some real good food this is the spot i thake my hate of to the manager and all the employes ther Great lot of good times energy in good so is...
