House of Pizza — Restaurant in Pennsauken Township

We ordered today for first time and it will be the last. We ordered for pick-up, upon arrival, my order was ready but the cashier Ashley was out for a smoke break and no one else could take my payment so I had to wait for her. When we got home, there was a mess in the bag, the hot sauce spilled all over (I always carry by food with care to prevent spills), the wings were undercooked (see pictures) $17.25 for 10 “fresh” buffalo wings is the most ridiculous price I’ve paid. In total I paid $46.06 for a large order of fries, 10 undercooked wings, 1 buffalo chicken cheesesteak sandwich. BUT MY main concern now is that I hope I don’t get food poisoning, the place is not cleaned. It is filthy, I wonder when was the last time they cleaned under the cooking equipment. The bottles of sauces are so dirty. (How did I have time to see all of this? Well I was waiting on Ashley to come back from her smoke break and by the way I didn’t see her washing her hands before she handed me my bag- she came in thru the front door ) . It is a shame people...

I’m one of those people who rarely write reviews but value them so much ( I know, working on writing them more often). Husband and I just moved to south Jersey from Philly and have been looking for a spot for pizza, hoagie, quick and good takeout bites when the craving strikes. Tried House of pizza last night and it was super solid. We got a mixed cheese hoagie (vegetarians in the house) broccoli bites and poppers and curly fries. Portions are very big, hoagie was awesome (would love a seeded roll) - bread was soft and fresh, lettuce nice and shredded with thinly sliced red onion. The fries were bomb as well as the other fried goodies. Everything was so good that tonight we tried the veg Stromboli - also solid. Happy to support a local establishment and to have our junk food cravings met. Not to mention supporting...

This place used to be the absolute BEST. When we moved to jersey in 2020, we ordered from here almost every night while completing construction inside of our home. Sometime in 2021, something happened where the quality of the food drastically changed- sloppy food, soggy pizza, dry steak sandwiches. After 4 bad experiences, we stopped ordering. Now it’s 2024 and we decide let’s give it a try again. I spent close to $50 on two pizzas and fries (ridiculous) and one pizza (made with the wrong toppings) had multiple pieces of hair on it and the other inedible due to the cheese completely sliding off of the pizza (pizza also not cooked all the way).

What a waste of money. This will be the final time I order from this place. I’m mad I gave it...
