Crab Du Jour — Restaurant in Pennsauken Township

When they first opened their food was delicious and they gave you good portions of food, waitresses were friendly and polite. Me and my family went every day for 4 days straight, and we continue to go. 2 months later portions were small and prices went up. Yesterday I decided to give them a try.the distancing wasn't 6 feet a part but your asked to wait in your car after placing order and they would text your phone. I decided to give them a try so I ordered half lb dungeness and a lobster tail, then i order shrimp in the bag head off and 3 piece flounder with cajun fries. Something said check your food. They had combined my dungeness irder with the shrimp order and im alleged to shrimp, the fish was all broken up and no cajun on my fries. I went back in and it became an argument because they wanted to tell me thatscthecway i placed my order. At this point i didn't want me food but they wouldn't refund me my money . They were very disrespectful. My husband shrimp bag had 1 potato 1 corn, my bag had 2 potatoes 2 corns. Its terrible. This received iur business and doing well so they was to cheat the customers now. CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE LEAVING THE BUILDING. They will never get my business again. Cannot recommend this place enough!!! Absolutely outstanding food & quality. I’m a huge fan of Po Boy sandwiches and had been struggling to find any in the area, found Crab De Jour Pennsauken on Door Dash & saw they had them.

Decided to give them a shot, got the cat fish one & the flounder one, I had always wanted to try catfish so I figured this was a good time to do it.

Both sandwiches were perfect, like actually perfect. The catfish one was easily my favorite of the two & now am a big fan of catfish. Flounder was solid , will be trying the shrimp one & oyster one next!

Their Cocktail sauce was delicious and had a great texture, the fries ( I got both Cajun & sweet potato ) were borderline addicting , perfectly cooked & seasoning was top tier.

Overall I have nothing but great things to say about this place, I’ve ordered 3 days in a row this week. Service & Food was outstanding , I’ve only had them via delivery but I can tell you this location and staff are amazing & they earned a lifelong customer with me.

5 stars across the board , if you’re on the fence of trying them or looking for great food at a very good value I hope this review convinces you to give them a shot.

I called a few weeks ago and inquired about coming to dine in with a large party and John welcomed us with opening hands. He said sure let me check and make sure it’s ok with management and let me know he could accommodate. He told me I could bring balloons and BYOB. I arrived in time and the place was set up nicely, even though I added my own decor, cake, balloons and tablecloths...he had no problem with it. He was so accommodating, respectful and helpful the entire time. My mom enjoyed her 60th during this pandemic and John had a hand in helping make sure that was possible. He offered to put on any music we would like, but my mom brought her Bluetooth speaker. The icing on the cake is that my family is not quiet, shy in any way or shape. So, we were quite a fun, respectful but loud group. The service was superb, if you are doubting if you should come her to have a small celebration don’t look any further.
