I was born & raised in Bklyn, NY, and then moved to Long Island. I'd like to say I've had my share of good, bad, amazing & disgusting food in my time, lol, from places like Peter Lugers on down. Since we moved here 4 years ago, we have tried a lot of places to eat since it's just me & my husband now. Brother Bruno is hands down delicious. I'm not a pizza person, but my husband can eat pizza every day for every meal. I try things like burgers, meatballs, pastas, etc. Their burgers are delish for a pizza place (except when you say medium, you get more like medium well), but things like their chicken fingers make up for that. Never over cooked or dry. Today, we tried the chicken francese over penne & it's amazing & generous with the portions. Nothing was dry & the flavor was perfect. My husband also ordered a calzone with sausage & he said it was perfect. The counter staff ladies are always nice & they have your order ready ASAP. We can not wait to try more items. If I had to ask for anything, it would be delivery AND for a NICE Potato & Egg hero on the menu!!! My mom tried their pepper & egg heroes & their sausage, pepper & egg hero & she loved them. She was the one who said if they can make this & it tastes like an old Italian bklyn pizzeria, she can imagine how good a fresh potato & egg hero would be from Brunos! Thank you guys for always having delicious food so we look forward to trying...
Read moreThis place has become a joke. Customer service at the restaurant is non existent. Waiter and waitress are more preoccupied with texting on their phones then actually doing their jobs. The female waitress with black hair and tattoos needs a serious attitude adjustment. She clearly hates her job and is prejudiced against people from abroad. Zero class. Thinks that anyone speaking a different language than English is Russian. Completely oblivious to anything outside her tiny and miserable world. She couldn't even remember a simple order and then asked rudely if we want part of the order to go because she never put it in. Charged more to a card than the actual bill was and then gave two different excuses why she did that after we asked for an itemized bill back. The food is also mediocre at best. Son got sick and threw up right outside the restaurant. Menu states "FRESH BURGERS" but that couldn't be further from the truth. Unless fresh at Bother Bruno's means OLD and FROZEN. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. Either way this place will not last long with...
Read moreAmazing pizzeria for the area that it’s located in... Best garlic knots in the whole tri-state area. Now only if they ever made enough of them. I called and ordered garlic knots and when I arrived they tell me they do not have any made at the time.. The whole reason we were even driving the half an hour there was for my lovely wife to have the garlic knots she’s been craving. Upon arrival is when I am told that there is no more knots and I would have to wait for fresh ones to be made... I was already on thin ice like I am Wayne Gretzky with this beautiful angel of Satans. Not to mention she’s pregnant and really wanted those knots after waking up from working overnights at a senior living center... How many times are you going to constantly run out of knots, before y’all realize you need to make 4x as many as you’re doing. Tried getting Eggplant parm and mozzarella sticks to bring her some type of food And mind you none of it was eaten. All wasted.. Garlic...
