The owner was so nice when we visited a time ago! The walls were hand painted and it's lovely! We have returned a few more times and food is always a hit. Nachos are insane. I just tried the catfish and I didn't get to have much because my son killed it first. Friendly staff. Good environment for watching a game, having a drink or even having your family (kids) too. Thank you!
Update: April 2024
Ate here with my husband and son. Had a decent experience. Fries/waffle fries, great! Was excited to try the Burger with BBQ sauce and onion rings. I added jalapeno. Was expecting Cheddar cheese on my burger as written in the menu. Instead, I received Nacho cheese. The replacement almost ruined my burger bc there is a huge difference between nacho cheese and cheddar cheese. It tastes different and basically coated my entire burger. It's droopy effect didn't allow me to have the full flavors of everything else that made it a BBQ burger. The BBQ sauce wasn't able to add depth to every bite. The waitress tried to convince me that it was melted extra Sharp cheddar cheese too. No way! And then suggested next time I request a diff. Cheese as an effort to not experience that again. However I don't think it's right that I should note a for next time... and for me to expect the inconsistency and order different then if y'all actually serve a cheese that is stated. Why not just admit you assumed I would like nacho cheese drenching my burger, or just admitting you don't have the cheese and offer what's available. I'd rather have an opt to choose a Swiss or provolone before serving me nacho drenching cheese. We have come before so of course I will let it go, but having two conversations trying to convince me I'm somehow at fault for selecting what's on the menu ... Is kind of a joke. We spent approx $50. For the three of us. Not a bad price range. Quality food. Learning curve here. Might try that again but...
Read moreWalking in Brasky's is a pretty nice and clean sports bar. Nice Big bar also has video slots if that's your thing. With five tables of people eating and a few people at the bar i was a little worried only seeing one person working (Michelle). Well she more then got both serving and bar tending down while keeping all her customers happy ( i know this cause every table complimented her when they went to leave). First off the wife and I ordered potato skins w/out onion and they are some of the best around a nice crispy potato skin filled with bacon and cheese with sour cream on the side very good and a must try if you like Potato skins. My wife got the Fried Catfish with waffle fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw was meh and a little to over powering on the onion. The Waffle Fries were amazing giant, crispy, and seasoned well these are a must have. The Catfish my wife says is one of the best she has had in a while the breading was crispy packed with flavor it the fish it's self was cooked well and very flavorful. I ordered Brasky's Burger which is Deep-fried patty with Apple Wood smoked bacon and three kinds of cheeses: American, Swiss & Pepper Jack, served on a toasted bun with Sweet Potato fries. The sweet potato fries were ok they didn't come with any seasoning on them so nothing special. The Burger's bun was the worst part of this lunch cause i read Toasted Bun but what i got was a unbuttered maybe 5sec toasted bun off a flattop grill because the cook forgot to put it down. The Burger as a whole was dry and a little bland. Our Total bill was $36.00 so a little pricey but they do have a lunch menu we just didn't order from it. I will give this place a second chance because my wife really liked it , the Potato Skins are Bang'in, and Michelle was great. A solid 3 stars with a few tweaks to some menu items would have them at and...
Read moreWe ordered the happy hour $2.00 burger the appetizer combo and the prime rib sandwich. My mother said the burger was really good. It wasn't large but that was to be expected. She was given her choice of the usual toppings and it looked fresh. The combo appetizer was good and hot. No complaints there. Then my prime rib sandwich came out and wow.. talk about impressive looking. The issue was that it was only about like warm and my second bite actually had a cold spot in the it. Well I could tell by the temp of my fries that my sandwich had been waiting for them. So the waiter was very nice as I asked about it and he said they would start a new one. When he brought out the replacement it was wow time all over again and it was very hot. So I started in. Now I have eaten a lot of steak in my time and I must say this was a very good cut of meat but where was the seasoning?? Whole big delicious piece of prime rib just about waisted because of a lack of seasoning. You could taste the onion, mushrooms and swiss but that was about it. I have never had a piece of meat like that without any seasoning. Usually prime rib has almost a crust around the outer edge and mine had nothing. Braskys.. go get a piece of prime rib from absolutely anywhere.. there is seasoning. Maybe it was just me but it was lacking. Dont get me wrong, great atmosphere and service!! And I will be going back! But I will not be ordering...
