When spending the day with my dad, we were looking for a little place to sit and catch up. He is an avid coffee drinker so I looked on Yelp for a local business to try. This place was the perfect choice! There is both outdoor and indoor seating available, but it was a hot Fall day so we opted for the air conditioned interior. We were able to sit in peace, enjoy our delicious coffees, and share conversation. My dad is SUPER particular about his coffee and he greatly enjoyed a cup of their regular drip coffee. I opted for a cold brew with heavy cream and it was probably THE BEST cold brew I have ever had! It was so rich and creamy with no bitter aftertaste. The pumpkin pecan scone I ordered on the side was dense, rich, and flavorful. You can tell they put a lot of love and pride into their business. The owner even came over to say hi and tell us about the coffees we ordered. She was genuinely warm and caring, almost like she was welcoming us to her home. Definitely a local business I will be supporting during my future visits to Peoria! Give them try for your next coffee fix!

Always delicious! šŸ˜‹ The team of friendly baristas is amazing & they always nail all the customizations to make an excellent espresso drink! They source locally roasted CxT coffee beans. My favorite is the shaken espresso with cold foam. Their homemade syrups taste great & I love that they feature a rotating monthly seasonal flavor. Their frozen coffees are much better than the big box store with real coffee & can be customized with decreased level of sweetness / flavors. You can also buy their syrups to enjoy at home! The cold foam is much better than other shops! I also tried their new homemade scones for the first time - they aren’t dry & the taste is amazing!

What a hidden gem! Okay, it’s not really hidden, but we didn’t know about this place until today. And are we glad we found it! I grabbed the peppermint mocha, and it is hands down the best I’ve ever had. We also had this caramel brownie cookie deal. Not sure what it was called exactly, but it was divine! We highly recommend The Spot if you’re in the are looking for a classy tasty coffee spot!

Tasty Yummy - "The Spot" hits the spot. Went on a coffee shop field trip today to the North Peoria/Dunlap area to experience The Spot's land-based locale on the far north side of Knoxville Ave. The decor was clean, neat, and bright - a blend of upscale hotel lobby layered together with some stereotypical coffeehouse kitch that somehow worked together like latte art on espresso. The little shop was full of regulars, buzzing with chatter as meetings commenced over laptops enjoying the free WiFi. The Spot also has a travelling food truck and an active social media presence, so it's good at letting you know what's brewing. Flavor-wise, I've had several of their selections. The Peoria area is fortunate to have a local, vibrant coffee culture - and this fits in comfortably to that scene. While it wasn't so stand-out that I'd make the half-hour one-way trip again, it's definitely a "The Spot to" be if you're a local living in one of the nearby...

This is a fantastic "spot" to stop for coffee. I want to say the staff there are so incredibly friendly, at this point I partially go for the smiles from everyone there and their coffee is so good.

I love a good cup of coffee and The Spot checks all the boxes for me. I have had the Americano and the Miel and both are 100% worth getting. I am slowly sampling everything on their menu and am enjoying it to no end.

I have used their roasted and ground beans for my french press at home and it was almost like I was getting coffee from them every morning. Their coffee is better but taking home the beans was close second.

This is a definite place to stop at for any coffee lovers or for anyone having a rough day. The kindness and smiles from anyone can fix...
