Great Harvest Bread Co. — Restaurant in Peoria

I'm dissatisfied in the service I received. I had a little bit of an attitude towards my order. I wanted to salad, neither of the salads I wanted were in the coolers and I asked if I could have them made. It seemed like an inconvenience to the gentleman to make them. Said, "do you have time because it will take me 10 minutes or so just to get the stuff out" I didnt have my chef salad made correctly and did not have any hard boiled eggs on it. The other salad and my sandwich was fine. Just a little disappointed as I was walking out. I work for a large company that partners with Great harvest and I was surprised. Food is great but as someone that doesn’t eat dairy or pork, it’s extremely inconvenient and disappointing that it’s impossible to customize the sandwiches or remove the cheese or bacon on doordash. At the very least I wish I could add special instructions so I can remove the cheese and or bacon. I was wanting to doordash a sandwich to work today but I can’t because literally every sandwich but the chicken, tuna salad, even the veggie sandwich has cheese! Extreme oversight that needs to be looked into please. I love the food but it makes it hard when I can’t customize anything to match my diet...

I had the spicy apple bacon grilled cheese for lunch today, and let me just say, it was amazing! The combination of flavors was like a party in my mouth. Who would have thought that a combo like this would be so amazing- it should be illegal. I used the drive thru and from the time I arrived until I received my order I was treated as though they were actually happy to see me there- that’s refreshing in today’s world where it seems you are putting people out by giving them your business. I will definitely be going back. I have never had a thing on this menu that I did not like. Kudos to Great...
