I went in to get a Jr Whopper this morning, Feb 17,2023 at 9:15 am. There were 3 employees working. The cashier seemed inexperienced, but he was soft spoken and doing his best. There was another man making food that seemed fluent in the biz. A brunette woman who acted like management and was helping and running drive through was very short and rude with the new cashier. I asked him to add Bk King sauce to my burger and cheese and he couldn't find the button in time to feel like he was moving efficiently, so he said he would tell them. When he did she barked at him "you HAVE to put it on the order, there is a button for that" in a annoyed voice. The other man working (long dreads) whispered something to her and she said, "I just don't have the patience for it". Then the cashier put an order on the counter for a take out and she yelled "THAT GETS A LARGE COFFEE" which he was already moving for. Here is my issue: I could feel the tension in the room. I know they are feeling stressed and busy/overworked. But you will never keep or attain good help by allowing your management to treat employees this way. There are job openings everywhere and he could be anywhere else doing this. Food Service IS stressful to begin with, but pair it with being new and nervous AND having an unpleasant leader and it makes for a miserable life. She handed me my food with a smile, which is great! But I hope she reads this and knows her team deserves the same resoect. That team is the legs her and the company's success stands on. Without the team your are nothing. l told the kid on the way out (okay, he was probably a young man, I don't know) that he did great and not to let her get him down, but I know he dreads her, and that is sad, because he really was trying. She needs to be kind in her directing, and praise when he gets things right or is doing well so he looks forward to doing a job. Ut is so nice to see real people working. As a plus, the place was clean and although I did not know that BK microwaves their burgers, it did taste good. I would have given 5 stars for how well this 3 person team was handling the flow, had she not been wrecking the vibe with her lack of patience. I m hoping she gets a call or reads this, humbkes herself a bit, and realizes that our bad days affect and are noticed by others. This is a hug for her...smile...now pass it on to...
Read moreI went on September 22nd, 2022 at 4pm and the lady working drive they was incredibly short tempered. Twice she retorted back to me in a nasty way for the simplest of things. I told her I have a code for free fries and she said okay, so I gave her the code and she was like âugh sir you need to order somethingâ I said okay and ordered what I wanted. I then asked if she could put in a couple onion rings with my fries, like I do at every Burger King Iâve ever gone to since I was a child. And she acted like I just beat up her grandma she was so insulted at the mere question. She said âUH no, we have never done that and never willâ and I just drove off because I was so sick of her terrible attitude. I will never come back to this store again. Please work on...
