Subway — Restaurant in Illinois

Today, worker took payment then without changing his gloves, stuck hands into olives, lettuce and every single topping.

I asked him and he was honest enough to say he didn't change his gloves before reaching in a touching all the toppings in the bins.

I'm not sure how long he had been wearing those gloves and how much cash he handled before handling my food.

Kudos to him for being honest...but Now that I'm home I'm going to throw the sandwich away.

I'm usually too lazy to review but a secondary and "not the worst" issue: Usually the place is super super slow on the drive thru at 6pm and their headset doesn't work so you have to say the order several times.

It is sketchy ...but the dirty gloves ...I think I'm done with subway and their bins.

The veggies are fresh but....so are the previous guy's germs.

*Update: went back a week later since my kids like the food. Same worker...he got new gloves before touching food. Awesome! My verbal comment helped.

I'm still not eating there though ... I dont trust what happens when other workers are there, their training process, or if that worker knows I'm not the one in...

Ordered a curbside pick up order on the app. I sit outside for 10 minutes. One of the owners walked out, rudely told me my order was ready, I just had to go inside to get it and then walked to his car. This store was NOT busy. One person walked in while I was waiting, no other cars in the lot or people in the store. No signs on the door saying no curbside, curbside parking spot still clearly marked. Had I known, I wouldn't have sat there waiting for ten freaking minutes. If you don't offer curbside for whatever reason, disable it from your store, cover the curbside parking sign, and put a notice on the door, do SOMETHING. Why did the owner have to be rude about it? Wouldn't grabbing my order on his way out and explaining there's no curbside be a better option for customer service? 🤔 I'm a pretty reasonable person, but I'll go out of my way to not go to this location. Stuff like this is why there's no one there at 5:45pm, when most other places are...

When I visit subway I get 1 thing and 1 thing only. A footlong Meatball sandwhich, on Italian herb&cheese, with pepperoni, cucumber and parmesian, toasted. I'm pretty sure I ordered The sandwich so many times I'm the reason "the boss" was placed on the menu.

However. Since I've moved near this location every single time I stop into the store there's there's gentleman working that tells me they're out of meatballs consistently. Today I thought it'd be different because there was 2 women behind the counter and they seemed much more friendly than the guy ever did.

I was even surprised when Indeed they had meatballs so I ordered myself the boss thinking I was in luck today. Guess again. Even though I was asked about the toppings, cheese, toasted etc. Like normal, ypu could imagine my surprise when it's freezing cold, with no cheese, or parmesan. Thank you. So very much for ruining a meal I was looking forward to. Now I'm out $15 and I'm...
