McDonald's — Restaurant in Peoria

We don't go to McDonalds super often but we have been to this McDonalds a total of 3 times since moving to town and each time there is at least one issue.

First time: A family member decided to swing by with breakfast and they completely forgot to give an entire person's order. Figure ok that happens, a breakfast sandwich could be easy to forget.

The second time the experience was horrible. I have never had so many issues with ONE simple order. I placed this order through the drive through. My husband wanted a burger with medium fries and a coke. I wanted a cheeseburger with ketchup & pickle, medium fries and a milkshake. (simple enough order right?) She rings me up as MILK instead of milkshake. So I correct her that no, I want a milkshake. She just says "oh" and i see it get rang up on the screen. She doesn't read my order back to me or even tell me the total or to pull ahead. So, I pull up to the window and they hand me my milkshake, and then pass through a container of milk...ummm DIDN'T want milk. I explained this to the person at the window and she calls over a manager because she charged me for BOTH a milkshake and a milk. The manager goes over to the register where people inside place their orders and proceeds to yell all the way from there to the drive through window asking me question about what needed to be voided and how I paid. (Hello, walk the 8 feet to the window and talk to me, don't yell at me from across the store). So she voids the charge for the milk and I get home. Open up our bags....not a single french fry order AND my cheeseburger was LOADED with mustard and onions (which I explicitly asked for none and was documented on my ticket) I was a bit upset at having THREE things wrong with such a simple order, so I called the store to complain. The phone rang for what seemed like forever and when whoever the manager was that day picked up and I explained what had happened all she could do was suggest I bring it back in and they'd fix it. We were on our way out of town and didn't have time to drive back there to have them fix such silly mistakes. All the manager did after this was say "Well, sorry."

Tonight my husband was fairly hungry and decided since McDonalds is open til midnight he'd swing by there. When he pulled into the drive through they shut the lights off on him and told him through the intercom that they were closed. He told them that it was only 10 til midnight and that they should be open for another 10 minutes. They just repeated that they were closed and then refused to answer him through the intercom. If they aren't going to be open until midnight they shouldn't advertise it as being so.

We will never return to this McDonalds again, and will honestly probably prefer to go to a different establishment when we need...

This WAS my favorite McDonald's in all of Peoria. Not any more. I sat in line 20 mins waiting to place my order. When u start to order a sign goes over some of the drinks and you can't see the flavors. After several back and forth about the flavors he says he will be right back. Five mins later comes on to take my order and now her and I are round and round about the flavors. She finally tells me that the machine is broken apparently not telling the young man taking orders. He was going to be in for one rough day. I drive through to pay and I have gift cards. After paying I was sure I owed him money and he said no. No receipt. Pull up to get my food and they give me the 2 drinks to go with the meals. I look in the sack and my order is not right. Missing one sandwich and fries. Some lady in a blue shirt comes to the window demands to see my receipt. When I told her I didn't get one. My husband said here is a receipt and I hand it to her and am informed this wasn't even a McDonald's receipt. I went to take it back and she yells at me not to rip it out of her hand and takes off. 5 mins later still waiting in line holding up traffic waiting for all my food. Someone puts a...

Took my kids here bought 2 happy meals for them when we go sit to eat they had the opposte gender toy not a big deal, but they wanted there gender toy so i asked manager Steven nicely hey can we change these to my kids gender he says what you have is what you get we dont have anything in the back anymore but girls, so i went and sat down let my kids play another emplyee passed by and i asked him hey do you have any toys for the gender of my kids he says oh yeah hold on he nicely brought me the right one but he only brough one he went back to get the other one and the manager wouldnt let him grab it for me he personally told me that manager wouldnt let him. So i waited finished up and was on my way out i tell him excuse me whats your name, he reaponse in a amgry manner huh what you want my name for ahahahhaa whats your name , and i said this is how you talk to customers he aggressibly says hold up hold up ima get you something and brings out another manager explain it to him that he gets what ever comes in the happy meal, she grabs him back knowing his on the wrong already because of his attitude i just walked out simce i was with my kids.
