This was our first time going to Los Cabos Cantina, Jesse seated us and was our waiter too. After seating us he was gone for a brief moment came back and took our drink order, they brought us some chips and salsa right after. When he was taking our order it was almost as if we've known each other for years. He was very friendly and comfortable. The salsa was really great, when you let it sit in your tongue for a second it warms up, had great flavor! We decided to get a small bowl of queso and that was great too. We only had to wait maybe about 10 minutes before our meal arrived at the table. Presentation was really nice especially the tacos. I had ordered a tamale and asked for the toppings on the side. When he came back to the table and noticed that the toppings were not on the side he immediately tried to fix it. And I'm not pointing that out to say that they made a mistake but to say that he tried to fix it in many ways. He offered to go back and get a new one, take it off the bill, and even after I tasted it, if I didn't like it he would bring another one out. I decided to just keep it as it was and it actually tasted really great, it was really nice to taste somebody's tamales that had lots of flavor! You can tell that they put their heart into making these tamales! I too make tamales so I definitely appreciate the art & that and the fact that they took the time to make it very flavorful! While we were eating I looked around the restaurant and really appreciated the decor that they had it actually felt like you were in Mexico enjoying a nice dinner! The decorations, the bull head, the seating, everything was all very comfortable, it felt very authentic and I loved it! Overall the food tasted great especially the Birria tacos. I also love the fact that they're redoing the entire parking lot so it's going to be real nice to be driving through there in the future. Just parking lot was known for being really bumpy and lots of potholes and stuff so that was definitely appealing to see a new parking lot! We really enjoyed our first experience here and we'll definitely be coming back in the future! ÂĄEl servicio fue excelente y la comida fantĂĄstica!...
Read moreThe worst experience we ever had. I am 62 and disabled. My fiance of 10 years is also disabled. My sister is 64 years old and disabled we had a 9 Pound mixed terrier service animal with us. We have papers on this dog from a licensed medical doctor at the human service center in downtown Peoria. Before we got completely in the door. This man was pointing his finger at us yelling I want papers on that dog. It's against the law for him to even ask. People here don't understand the laws about service animals and disabled people. he was doing his best to try to Shame us in front of a restaurant full of people. I believe he was wanting to show some type of authority. Only airports and hotels have the right to ask for those papers. That's the law. But we are all elderly and disabled. I told him he was a jackass. And I told him there was a lot nicer way to ask somebody for papers even though it wasn't legal. He made the girls cry. That is a very sick man doing that to sick disabled elderly people. We like the food there before. We were just there in August after death in our family. Myself I've had five friends and family members died since August this year in 4 months.we like the food there before. We were just there and August after death in our family. Myself I've had 5 friends and family members died since August this year in 4 months. We just wanted to have a nice breakfast. That was all. And this man took it off from us took away any self worth and respect we had. Another black eye for Peoria and ignorance that goes on here in the city. I would like to see them shut down now. You can't treat sick people like that or elderly. Manager of a breakfast restaurant or not that doesn't give you the right to treat people that way especially second disabled. This man are literally ask me to step outside and asked me to hit him so he can call the police and have me arrested. That is your manager at Le Peep's. What a poor...
Read moreHORRIBLE experience here. Would not recommend it to anyone. At all. Went here with a couple of friends for dinner one night. Halfway through my friend's meal, she noticed a hair in her food. Obviously, she completely lost her appetite and let our waitress know about it. She did not finish her meal. Nor was she offered a re-make. When we got our bill, they comped my friend HALF of her meal. So we went up to the register and my friend explained the situation. The man behind the counter responded with, "You ate it though, right?" She responded with "I found the hair halfway through my meal so I didn't finish it" he then again said "but you ate half" I stepped in and said "there shouldn't have been a hair in her food to begin with!". He was not going to comp her whole meal. Which any place with good customer service would do. He then grabbed a manager, and you could see all the servers huddled in the corner chatting about the situation. The manager came up and said, " Yeah, we just don't have any women back in the kitchen"(the hair found was long-not that men can't have long hair either). Not to mention, our server was a female with long hair. I believe the manager did comp her meal, but needless to say, what happened was disgusting and should have been taken care of immediately. There should not have been an argument about it. For this reason I will never give this place my money again. None of us, 3 will. Give better customer service when your staff makes mistakes. We all make them, but make them right, please. *the initial guy we spoke with really just made it seem like we were trying to get free food which was extremely annoying. Not everyone is trying to pull a fast one on...
