I recently visited GERMANO’S Premium Gelato & Coffee in Pompton Plains, and I was beyond impressed! This new establishment, conveniently located right on Route 23, is an absolute gem for anyone who loves quality gelato and excellent coffee. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with outstanding customer service — warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell the staff truly cares about providing a great experience. The atmosphere is clean, modern, and inviting — perfect for relaxing with friends or stopping by for a treat after dinner. The gelato selection is incredible — so many different flavors to choose from, each one looking more tempting than the next. I tried several samples and ended up with a couple of my favorites — the texture was unbelievably smooth and creamy, and the flavor was rich and authentic. You can really taste the quality ingredients and craftsmanship in every bite. It’s easily some of the best gelato I’ve ever had in New Jersey! Their coffee is just as impressive, perfectly brewed and a great complement to the gelato. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick espresso or staying for dessert, it’s a wonderful spot. Germano’s is hands-down one of the best gelato spots I’ve ever been to. The texture is perfectly creamy and smooth — you can tell it’s made fresh with real ingredients. Every flavor has that authentic Italian richness without being overly sweet. The pistachio tastes like actual roasted nuts, the chocolate is pure and deep, and the fruit sorbets are bright and refreshing.

The staff are super friendly and happy to let you sample before deciding (which makes it even harder to choose because they’re all amazing). The shop itself is spotless and has a cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay for a second scoop.
