Golden Jade Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Pequannock Township

Found this little hole in the wall in the corner of a very low traffic strip of stores in Pequannock... never heard of it or saw it before, but had to go to CVS in this shopping center, for Rx I couldn't get from my local CVS in Wayne and figured we'd give it a try!

Pick up only. Kitchen was very clean from what we saw as it was exposed to the counter, which made us even happier with being able to see how clean their cooking area was and how the food was handled, and good sized portions for the price!

Front counter ladies were friendly and spoke English very well and the food was quickly done and all the food was terrific! Not salty or over cooked or over saucy! Fresh and no stomach upset after eating a little too much cuz it was so great! Very well...

Worst Chinese food around. I ordered from this place for the first time. My order was not what I expected or asked for. I asked for non-spicy yet the one dish was loaded with chili peppers. The noodles in my chicken lo mein where way under cooked, there is no flavoring. The shrimp in the pineapple shrimp was sour. Then when I call to politely tell them. The manager was nothing but arrogant and rude. Don’t waste your time with this please. All the other places in town...

This is not an eat in place. But, they made a very affordable Kung Pao Chicken Combo which was perfectly yummy. I came in from out of town and arrived a little late and tried to go to another Chinese restaurant right next to where I’m staying. They were unhappy and seemed like they didn’t want to talk to me. I couldn’t get past the vibe. I found Golden Jade on Google and they greeted me with kindness and warmth. I’m so happy I gave them my business. Best wishes...
