My Bagel Heaven — Restaurant in Pequannock Township

I grew up going to this shop every Sunday with my dad and sister until I moved to Orlando in high school. Every time I come back to visit I make sure to come to Bagel Heaven! This time I took my boyfriend who has not experienced the Jersey amazingness of a real bagel spot. This place has been consistently delicious for the 30 years I’ve been coming back.

It was very busy early Saturday morning (a sign it’s still a popular and local favorite) and even though it took a bit of time, the customer service was on top of it. Really used to like this place but since the face lift prices have gone up and food portions have gone way down and service has been slacking. To charge 7.95 for a Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwich on a Kaiser roll and literally put 1.5 not even 2 slices of Taylor ham is a joke I literally laughed upon opening the sandwich. Literally any bagel shop in nj will load up Taylor ham on the roll. Also on a seperate day it took almost 25 minutes for 2 cream cheese bagels and a Taylor ham sandwich and it wasnt even busy. Im sorry sadly will not be going back to this place to get ripped off anymore. Wish I could post a picture of the sad Taylor...

Nice little bagel spot in the lovely town of Pequannock. Prices very reasonable. One thing I noticed was the everything bagel I ordered had very little of the toppings on the outside of it and it also had some dried oats as part of the toppings, a trivial amount but still it was strange to see oats on top of a everything bagel. The salted bagel was well coated but could of used more butter, as did the everything bagel could of used more olive cream cheese. The hot coffee was very good as well as the variety of the condiment bar. I will perhaps try one of thier sandwiches...
