Food was meh. It was okay, but not great. The man who took my order was friendly and pleasant. We got 4 big meals for about $50. Green chicken curry was edible but not outstanding. I've eaten Thai curry all over the world and this was the worst. The liquid was thin & runny, very little coconut flavor, not creamy at all. It was like what happens when I make green chicken curry at home. The chicken pieces were tender and tasted good, but had a weird texture, like almost breaded then boiled. The Singapore Mei Fun had barely any curry flavor, or any flavor at all. It was okay if you need something bland. Again, the chicken in it was weird & breaded, and this time it was super tough. Beef Lo Mein was sufficient- it was like if a school cafeteria made it. Not as good as the Asian food at the mall. Shrimp Fried Rice had very little of the "fried" flavor. The shrimp in it was great, but there was hardly anything else in it- a few peas scattered here & there, 1 little piece of egg, but mostly just gray rice. I'm not saying the food is bad- its not! It's just not amazing. If you are being forced to eat here, do not despair- you will live, and you might even like it. It's better than Chinese TV Dinners. Just don't go out of your way...
Read moreWhile the restaurant was clean and the service was friendly, I was not impressed with the quality or amount of food I got for ~$12 combo platter price. The eggroll tasted alright, but was small. The sweet and sour chicken tasted as though it had been sat under a heat lamp prior to picking it up, as the chicken was dry. The sauce it came with was decent, not overly sweet. Lastly, the portion size was lacking quite significantly. This was the first time I could not only finish the entire meal, but was left wanting more afterwards. Gone are the days of having leftovers, I guess. The next time I want Chinese food, I guess I'll have to look elsewhere. There has to be a better value around...
Oh, and to add insult to injury, this is one of a growing number of businesses that are charging a 3% fee for using a credit card, however they failed to mention this before I paid, and the only place I saw this listed was on the receipt after I was...
Read moreCounter service, rude! As usual. Especially rude when the young man gets interupted from his tablet activities. Food is avg. At best. Price out of line with with much better food and much friendlier service at most other Asian places in the area. Last but most certainly not least, I ordered sesame chicken and noodles. Egg roll cost 9.00.. I simply asked for chili sauce and sweet and sour sauce to go with the meal and was charged more. And it doesn't matter how much more of that's what you are wondering. I spent almost 10 dollars on Asian food, and when I asked for sauce, I'm asked to pay more!? What a joke! No other restaurant does this in my area. If you ask for extra they do, but not for one. I've said before, I'll never go back, And I wouldn't if it wasn't so convenient on my commute, but this time, I'm done with these clowns. ...
