I normally don't have a problem with this Dunkin Donuts in Perryville MD, but today (Saturday 8/26/23 at approximately 12:15pm) I did. First off there were 2 kids ( looked like Middle Schoolers) working the drive thru, I thought you had to be at least 16 to work there. Now the kid working the drive thru was not the problem, it was the manager. I mistakenly ordered wrong, I thought I ordered the new Pumpkin fravored Iced Latte which in the picture showed whipped cream and something sprinkled on top. Apparently I didn't say the magic words "Signature & Spiced" so no whipped cream or sprinkles. I asked to speak to the manager to figure out what happened. This manager came to the window with an angry/mean face and tone of voice to explain to the idiot (myself) that since I didn't say the magic words I was given a plain old Pumpkin Iced Latte (because I should have known there was a difference). I told my daughter about the rude encounter with this manager and she informed me this was nothing new, that many people in the area have complained about her. I have a feeling the underage workers there are either her children or her grandchildren. Oh, and to top everything off the Pumpkin Iced Latte tasted like a regular latte with a little more sugar in it, I didn't detect any Pumpkin...
Read moreEmployee argued with me about my pick-up order! I had a muffin (warmed) and 2 orders of pretzels. Upon picking it up in the drive-thru, my partner (he was driving at the time) was handed a bag which we assumed contained my full order. Instead, it held a very cold muffin and mustard packets. We got the window attendant's attention (she had closed the window and said nothing to us prior), and I told her that this was not my order. After explaining my order again, she -rudely- insisted my muffin was warm and that she was waiting on the pretzels (keep in mind she never told us that, and we would have driven off with the original bag had I not checked). She then takes the bag, warms the muffin, and hands it back after adding in 1 order of pretzels. We get her attention again and inform her that the order is still wrong. She becomes argumentative and walks away from the window. I will admit that this is the point where I become upset and throw out some not-so-nice adjectives regarding her attitude, but the whole thing was ridiculous. We spent so much time dealing with her b.s. that we are now late for a meeting. This is not my first negative experience that accompanied a pick-up order at...
Read moreThis is, by far, the worst Dunkin' I have ever used. I have attempted to give this location the benefit of the doubt as they have changed the management team 3 times in the past two years. This latest one has to be the worst. I understand being busy and I completely understand being understaffed, which is why I am blaming management and not the associates that typically take the brunt. You can tell that these new associates did not receive proper training, guidance on how to prioritize, or the resources and leadership needed to perform their job proficiently. Today I placed a mobile order 15 minutes prior to arrival, even "confirmed" I was there before I got there as I know Monday mornings can be a little crazy. I waited for 25 minutes, received my food... an additional 20 minutes later I received both of my, very simple, iced coffees. When I finally tasted my coffee and my food, it was the most horrid thing I have tasted.
Save yourself the headache and go straight to the North East...
