This is a great place to get a cake. Any occasion, any time, no occasion at all, no reason. These folks make fabulous cakes, cupcakes, cookies, you name it. I don't know if pies are on their menu, but if they are, I'm sure they are wonderful.

They once did a fish image for my husband's 80th birthday cake. That fish was so perfect - even all the kids fought over who got that portion of the cake! It was so nicely done. I happened to come by at some later date and get myself a cupcake (they have those daily), and the young woman who made it asked how we liked it - she said she'd worked pretty hard on it and just wanted to be sure it was ok. Was it ever!

When I had a visitor whose birthday coincided with a visit to Peru, Sandra created a perfect image of a butterfly, my friend's favorite thing on earth, to top the cake. Not only was it beautiful, it tasted like heaven. So, when I had my own birthday, of course I wanted something for myself. I told her to surprise me, and after a few questions about my personal tastes, my cake came out a Moroccan style beauty. Not to mention that perfect flavor and texture.

Her cupcakes are available daily, if you just want a little (sort of!) cake for yourself. Her cookies are so very good! You need to drop in and just experience this place! Sandra even has decor available for purchase up at the front. It's so nice to have such a quality bakery here it our small town. Plus, Sandra and her shop win awards all over, so we're very lucky...

UPDATE Because of my past positive experience I ordered the exact same cake for my daughter's birthday at her request. It was now $85 for the 6" cake and last time it was $65 for the bigger one and on top of that they charged me twice ($11) for paying over the phone. I understand that prices have gone up but this was too much for a cake that barely fed 8 people. You can see the size difference in pictures below. Cakes were still very high quality and delicious*

This place is on another level. I have had two birthday cakes made from here, and both have looked like something out of a high end, big city bakery. Will be coming back here for as long as I live...

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with this bakery. We originally ordered a cake for November 2020, but due to COVID, the wedding was postponed until November 2021. They were very willing to work with us in moving the date. We just celebrated my daughter's wedding yesterday and the cake was definitely a highlight. They helped my daughter design an unusual 3 dimensional cake that was just delicious! Two layers were the Honey Bee and we had several people tell us it was the best wedding cake they'd ever tasted.
