So on recommendations from others we arrived early to get a table ( we where in no hurry). The hostess was making the rounds in the bar area and being very attentive. We checked in and got a drink as we waited for others in our party. A few others from our group arrived and the hostess stopped to check in with us saying table was ready we asked to be seated while we waited for others and she promptly did so. This is where it goes down hill. As a side note we where a party of 8 on a busy evening....I get that but we where seated in less than 45 min and that's a great sign.
So we where seated. It appeared that staffing wasn't a huge issue but again they where busy so its hard to judge. After being seated for 20 min we had to stop a waitress just to get water glasses filled. No menus no drink orders nothing. The hostess just happened to be in the dining room and we asked her for menus and as before she was extremely helpful and apoplectic she provided us with them. The waitress finally got to us and took orders for both drinks and dinner. Our dinner order took over an hour to prepare drinks where essentially left for us to fill on our own while we waited for food. Again I get it busy weekend night staffing is crazy right now just put in a little more effort in attentiveness to guests and it would be perfect
We will be back....the food was fantastic setting was nice and cozy just needs a little better service in the...

The initial impression was great. It was packed with people, classy, and seemed put together. We ordered and patiently waited, and waited, and waited. We thought it a long wait, but excused it because of they we filled to capacity. But when tables of 5 that had shown up long after us were being served long before us it became quite apparent that we had been forgotten. After 1 hour 45 minutes we were finally served our salad. Then about twenty minutes later out steaks had arrived. The food was good, HOWEVER, the big issue...while patiently awaiting our food we happened to learn on of Brown's secrets! And this, I promise, is sadly true: We noticed the bus girls saving unused rolls from breadbaskets. They would set them on top of the bus pan, return them to the kitchen and dump them into the same bin that the waitresses would later use tongs to fish out rolls to serve to a new table! It took all of our might not to say anything, but because of this we will not be returning. Who knows what else they're recycling! I like my food fresh from the kitchen, not from the scraps of former...
Read moreFrom The time we walked in till the time we left was two hours. Dining room, very plain and ordinary looking. Our meal came in shifts 5 to 10 minutes in between each other first our salad, then I waited 10 minutes for my soup. Then our meal came out , and my steak was supposed to be medium rare and came out so extremely rare. Sent it back and then it tasted like reheated meat. The twice baked potato was not good either. The steak meal was taken off the bill but was still charged for the mushrooms and onions , which I don’t understand why I’m paying that when I didn’t eat the meal . , which I don’t understand why I’m paying that when I didn’t eat the meal we were sat as a couple In between two large groups of tables with extremely loud people at one, and the other one had small children at, we could not even hear each other talk. When you’re celebrating something special, this was not the environment we wanted to be in, which was a shame. It is what it is lesson learned. To say the positive the baked French onion soup...
