Mr Stroopwafel — Restaurant in Petaluma

Newer spot with a cute interior and plenty of fresh-made options. Service was good and the concept is fun, so we were hopeful. Unfortunately, the taste didn’t live up to the presentation. We tried three different stroopwafels and found them all to be surprisingly bland—lacking the rich, caramel flavor we were expecting.

We paid $18.39 for three cookies, including a 15% tip—which I regret. It’s frustrating how common tipping prompts have become for fast food-style service. At that point, why not tip delivery drivers too? It feels excessive.

Ultimately, for thin cookies at a premium price, the value just wasn’t there. We didn’t even finish them—not worth the calories. That said, taste is subjective, and others may enjoy it more. They offer a lot of variety, so it’s still worth trying once to decide for yourself. We just...

Great to have a stroopwafel place in Petaluma. They assemble the carmel between the waffles and add customized add-ons to the stroopwafel, like chocolate, marshmallow, nuts, crunch and more.

The process took awhile, but they just opened and I hope the flow goes quicker and more efficiently now.

We ordered a three pack, our choice of three: plain, chocolate, and nuts. The stroopwafels were delicious but I did wish there was just a tinge more carmel in-between, but still good.

Very cute little shop and wasn’t sure about the concept. Once I ordered, they make the stroops fresh to order so it’s warm and gooey.

I bought these for an office the next day so they are ok cold but much better re- warmed.

I suggest you get these when you want a sweet treat to enjoy right away.

The shop only has little seating but there’s a tea shop next door that connects that has extra seating.

Toppings: I suggest the ones with nuts, strawberry, or coconut.

Very sweet and decadent. One regular size is sharable.
