The Vault On Main — Restaurant in Petersburg

The Vault On Main is a great addition to our hometown dining! I've used the take-out option, dine in, the Bar area and enjoyed special events like their Trivia Night. My fav on the menu is the burger, some of the best I've had! Lightly toasted bun with fresh, hearty patty with a lot of flavor. The pizza is also a hit, I usually ask for it to be extra toasty on top. They have a fish selection that changes and that has been delicious the times we've tried it. The atmosphere at The Vault On Main is what draws you in. A modern option in our town is so nice, families are welcome and we've hosted a couple of family dinners there as well. The Bar is a fun atmosphere and they offer several different cocktails and inventive options are always being added. I ordered a grilled cheese and fried pickle chips thinking I was getting the lunch price during the lunch time only to be surprised with the check. When I asked about the price difference i was told that the menu price (for the pickles as an example) does not account for any hidden fees for using a non cash form of payment. And for the grilled cheese, i was told i should have been more clear when i said grilled cheese sandwich. I personally think the wait staff should have been more clear. When it comes to the condiments they are very frugal with giving you any. I will say that the restaurant is clean. The food isn't anything to write home about, it's basic. It will fill your belly but doesn't leave a wow factor. With all these factors if your looking for a place to eat this will work but not my first place I...

I forgot to get pictures, but maybe I can update this later with them if I go back. So, it's a relatively new place. The atmosphere was laid back, but nice. Loved the little bar. They had a decent liquor collection but could probably add more to it. Also, more craft beer options would be nice. I only went after work, and wasn't there for a whole experience, so I just had a drink and ate some fried pickles.

The fried pickles were really good. The breading was crispy. I've had some that are soggy but these were really good. I enjoyed the texture and the flavor. The server forgot my ranch, but got it quickly for me when I asked.

The service was great, the food was good, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I'd love to return for a dinner experience with some friends. The prices weren't awful, either....
