Last Thursday 6/13 about 7:30 pm. Perfect atmosphere. First round 2 Oberon nicely garnished and cold and one Mawby Sex on tap, kinda flat and room temp. First round of apps, fries - warm and limp but well seasoned, Rueben egg rolls that my companions loved and wings- not the best, but not the worst. Second round- a Cabernet (I don’t know the brand but it was good) served in a disposable glass that was meant for beer, blood orange margarita which my companion loved and another Oberon. Second round of food - the grain bowl with farro, chicken, mango and avocado. Lots of farro and not much else. Chicken was not at all worth the upcharge, was tough and flavorless. Minced mango and about 4 thin slices of avocado. Smash-burger was outstanding but chips were not salty and underwhelming. Churros warm and fresh and delicious. My two cents that no one asked for - kindly ask patrons to not let their very wet dogs on upholstered patio furniture. I understand the dog friendly culture and all but there were guests with nicer clothes on and it’s not cool to let your big dog sit where the next group will sit and possibly get hairy, dirty or stinky. Sorry. The music was great but a little too loud for conversation unless you went inside and who wants to do that on a perfect June evening? Service was friendly and quick but staff is not knowledgeable of the menu. I’m sure time will fix this. I would love to see Petoskey farms Shimmer on rotation. Maybe the Rose? Mawby is so good but Petoskey farms is so close and so delicious. Overall we will go back but just for drinks and not a meal. For now it’s a...
Read moreFirst time visiting, we were excited because it had great reviews and the view of the marina and exterior were great. Unfortunately, the young staff ruined the whole experience. When we walked in, we were not greeted by the multiple staff standing behind the bar staring at us. We quickly figured out that we could sit where we wanted and then go up to the bar and kitchen counters to order the food. There were not many people there so there were tons of tables open but they were all covered in old food and crumbs. We found a table that had the least amount of crumbs and then went ahead and ordered drinks and our food. Any time we went to order, the staff again would just kind of stare at us and it almost felt like we were bothering them by ordering. It seemed that we were interrupting their social time with each other. The music was insanely loud and what made it worse was the staff kept fighting over what songs to play so they would keep skipping songs and then argue over it. This place has great potential but the customer service was absolutely terrible. We watched 2 other couples walk in and then immediately walk out because it was too loud and dirty. We wish we would have...

We had the pleasure of being served by Christian, and I have to say he did an outstanding job—especially for someone so young. At just 15, he showed professionalism, friendliness, and genuine care for making sure our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. He greeted us warmly, checked in at the right times without being overbearing, and handled everything with a positive attitude.
Christian is attentive and eager to learn, and it really shows. Even when things got a little busy, he kept his composure and made sure we had everything we needed. You can tell he takes pride in his work, which makes a big difference.
If this is the level of service he’s giving now, I can only imagine how great he’ll be as he gains more experience. Keep up the great work, Christian!
