Found my new favorite Chinese restaurant that replaces all others. I came here with a friend whose been eating here for 20+ years. My friend always raved about Four Seasons so I decided to give it a try.
We were sat and greeted by the male owner. The menu has a ton of options with pictures and all reasonable in price. My go to item at any chinese restaurant is always the Lemon Chicken. It's my favorite item and a great way to tell of the restaurant is truly top notch.
My friend ordered us crab puffs which were the bomb. Crispy on the outside and yummy filling. The food arrived quickly, less than 10 mins after ordering.
The lemon chicken was authentic, not like the other generic chinese restaurants. The chicken was lightly breaded and covered in the Lemon sauce. Wasn't like other places that give you fried chicken with sauce on the side. Cutting into the chicken was easy abs the flavor was awesome...not heavy, light and a crisp lemon flavor.
The fried rice was fluffy and great flavor. The portions are great, enough to feed two off one plate. My friend ordered the four seasons pork which is grilled mixed veggies and pork. I sampled a bit and it was delicious, the veggies were grilled but not soggy, still crisp.
The owner checked on us regularly and was open to talk when I asked about the history of the business. This place has been here for 30 years, 3rd generation owner, same taste and recipes!!! You're made to feel like family.
The whole time we were there, people kept coming in to pick up their take out or calling for delivery. They are popular and...
Read moreI’ve been coming to Four Seasons since I was 8 years old. It used to be my favorite place and the sesame chicken was always perfect. It was crunchy and the sauce was delicious. But was is the keyword. I came today after visiting my sister in Austin and I didn’t expect what I got. Everything was served in styrofoam and plastic. Very strange but it wasn’t a deal breaker of any kind. It wasn’t until I got my sesame chicken that the real disappointment and sorrow set in. I hadn’t expected it to be bland and soggy and mushy. I’m pregnant and unfortunately the flavor of anything soggy and mushy and gross in general makes my stomach turn. The meal, having been a whopping 14 dollars, was not good enough for me to pay so much for, let alone eat. But when I brought it up with the waitress she would only offer me a to go bag and claimed she could not take it off Even after only taking no more than two bites. It took three people talking with them for them to give us 10% off the bill (12.45 or so which was split between everyone). It hurt my heart.
The place I idolized and used to be met with kindness in is not the same. The minute I said anything about the chicken they became cold and hostile. They even went so far as to comment on my tip which reflected my displeasure with the treatment we received. Not to mention, charging my father for an extra appetizer.
I am genuinely saddened to have to finally say goodbye to my neighborhood Chinese restaurant and I hope one day they find that greatness again that I once loved so much.

Read moreMy family came here after not having had four seasons in a while. My wife had been really craving four seasons as she is pregnant and has been continuously coming back for the past 14 years. The service was okay at first, but once the food got served she wasn’t the biggest fan of what had been served. Her sesame chicken was soggy and stringy. Not to mention we were made to eat on plastic trays with plastic utensils and styrofoam cups. Since she could only manage a bite we asked for a refund on her chicken as anyone would do in that case. The entire staff, managers and all refused, and glared at us the rest of the time making our family occasion SEVERELY awkward. After fighting with them for over an hour on this issue they reluctantly took 10% off of our bill. Not even close to the 15 dollars spent on a meal we didn’t eat. Since it was the only bit of leeway they were giving we decided 10% is better than nothing. My wife only left a 1$ tip due to the hassle and the manager who was ringing is out scoffs and goes “Only a dollar?”. Excuse me you’re lucky we’re tipping at all. After the rest of our family had paid their portions we stepped outside to talk the experience over, and found out they also charged my father-in-law for an extra appetizer. As my family has health concerns and small children going out is a rarity for us due to COVID-19, and to be treated this way is absolutely appalling. You can be sure we are never coming here again. Over 14 years out the...
