Grab your kids and your bicycles. park at Northwest Elementary Take the Long Trail that's right at the edge of the property of the school and follow it it's probably a couple of miles you get to the park. the park is awesome the playground is great. there are actually bathrooms there so you don't have to worry about trying to find a bathroom. there's a strip center with plenty of food and a gas station a half a mile away so you can grab snacks if necessary and then you ride back to the car take the kids home and they're so tired that they sleep all through the night and you and whoever you're sharing your space with get a nice quiet evening. Also if you push just a little bit further there's a fishing pond right up the way that is stocked and even has a family fishing day every once in awhile where the city comes in and dumps a bunch of fish in the pond and they bring you fishing poles and lures and everything to catch the...
Read moreThe female lifeguard that greeted us was very nice. Unfortunately, the male teenage lifeguards are rude and bark at the children. The pool was fairly empty and one lifeguard told the kids they could swim in the deep end, but they would need to get out if someone wanted to dive. Later, after everyone was finished diving, the kids asked if they could go back in the deep end and the same lifeguard said "no"... for no reason, given it was empty. They constantly yell at the kids "walk," and get frustrated when they don't hear them. Maybe turn down the loud music?!?! It cost $10 each to get in. Please consider hiring lifeguards that enjoy their job and...

The husband and I couldn't have another meal indoors. So we hopped in the hoopty and went for a drive. We picked up some amazing Jamaican food at Tony's (in Pflugerville). And decided to not eat in the car again. Luckily, we stumbled upon thee cutest park! It was so enjoyable to be able to have a meal in a clean and relaxing environment. The grounds were impeccably maintained. The restrooms could've used a bit of attention. But I blame that on the people who use the facilities and not those that maintain them. #DontBeGross
Anyhow, totally got off topic. Apologies.
Totally check out the park, it's clean, and felt safe. Also, everyone seems to be respecting each other's space....
