IHOP — Restaurant in Phenix City

The food was very good. Our waitress was excellent. But the girl destiny who was seeding people was one of the most rudest people I have met in a long time. My daughter has a service dog and this girl was so very rude to my daughter. When she went to seat usmy daughter was taking into consideration the other customers and asked if we could have the table that was closest to the wall which was right next to the table destiny was going to put us. My daughter felt that being a by the wall her service dog would be out of the way and she was trying to think of the other patrons and them not having to worry about stepping on Izzy or if someone was afraid of dogs. destiny's reply when requested to have the table right next to where she wanted to seat us was very rude. Her demeanor when we got ready to leave and I asked for a to go glass for my granddaughter was like it was an effort to get one the look on her face set it all. When I first tried getting her attention she started to ignore me and turned and headed away and I had to call to her to get her to come back. This girl is not a people person and really does not need to be working for she has to deal with the public. We did ask to speak to management and my daughter told him what she said and how she acted.she needs to go through a training class on how to deal with people or not be dealing with the public. 2/1/20 Wife & went for dinner at Phenix City location. No line seated right away. Young lady showed up in a few minutes to take drink order. So far so good. Drinks come and my wife orders a breakfast combo,I order chicken strips & a salad. I go to wash my hands, when I get back the wife says that waiter had returned to ask more questions about my order and left. 10 minutes later she returns to ask if I want fried or grilled chicken, and what two additional sides I want. I advised fried would be fine and fries as a side. At this moment another waiter interrupted us to start an argument with our person about taking one of her tables. Next the food comes without my salad and without Ranch I had requested for the chicken. 15 minutes later the salad shows up without dressing. Of course by then my food was cold and I was done! When I told her i was unhappy she said ok and went to the next table to take their order. I had not eaten a bite of my food as no part of the order was complete. We got up and went to the front counter. The manager offered to recook the order, when I declined and just asked for the bill she said there would be no charge and that this was a good place to eat. I placed an Online "Curb Side order" around 10:50 AM and according to my confirmation receipt my food was supposed to be ready at 11:14 AM. I arrived on time and the waiting area was packed with customers waiting to be seated even though they had plenty of open tables. One of the ladies told a customer that they could not be seated because they were waiting for the cook to arrive. A door dash Customer told me he had been waiting for his order for longer than 30 minutes. Also, one of the ladies was eating Popeye's Chicken at the counter in front of us!

I did not get my food until around 11:35 AM.

I was reading some of the 4 and 5 star reviews and I'm shocked. I think some may be fake because each time I visit this location they are extremely slow. I took my parents to this location one Sunday and we waited for almost over an hour for our food. As we were getting ready to leave is when they actually brought the food out.

This location is right down the street from our home so it would be nice if they had better management and employees because usually if I want IHOP I have to take a trip to one of the IHOPS In Columbus, GA.

Some of the employees are sweet but most of the time they are rude and unprofessional. I would avoid this location...
