Caffe Ida is a very special place in South Philly. I haven't been anywhere else state-side that made me feel more like I was in an authentic cafe in Italy than this place. It is very casual, down to earth, and a place to gather with neighbors, friends and family. No where else will you see old man speaking Italian and playing Scopa while sipping their morning espresso.
