I drove all the way from Detroit just to have original Philadelphia water ice. Everyone else had closed by the time I got here except for trucks. We came here as this seemed to be the only spot in driving distance open for water ice after a Wings game. I had mango and candy fish. Both flavors were yummy, and I preferred the candy fish flavor. Best water ice in the city, can’t get any fresher and the flavors are a hit. Caesar and his team are friendly, fast and fun, when I have friends or family visiting my first stop with them is always Chuck’s! My favorite gelati mashup is a large mango vanilla and blueberry.
