The food was definitely exceptional, but the service left something to be desired. First we ordered the soup and the tacos, we waited for 20 mins and the soup never made it to the table. The waitress was too busy tending to takeout orders and her own food which she subsequently ate adjacent to us and basically disregarded the fact that our food didn’t come out prior to her own. It was in poor taste to sit there with a paying customer and eat your food first and have no regard for whether or not we had ours. I hsvr worked in the restaurant industry before and I would have never intentionally sat in front of a paying customer and ate food first. Needless to say the etiquette has to be address. Take care of your customers first. Regardless don’t try to make up excuses for your mistakes and lapse in judgement you never known who the person is that you’re eating or tending to.the restaurant was practically empty there shouldn’t have been a reason for us to have waited for that long for our soup and tacos. The soup should have been brought out to the table first and foremost. I hope the owner of the establishment gets a chance to read this. No excuses for this...

Let me be clear. Service and atmosphere were EXCELLENT. (Except the waiter was a little pushy on getting apps and dessert.) No complaints otherwise.

Something that rubbed us the wrong way was the many add-on prices on the menu and slight price differences if you pay with a credit card.

$60 for a two platters and two drinks is pricey especially considering our meals were more on the basic side. I would probably come back for an appetizer or shared beverage.

As a Chicana myself who was raised on chilaquiles, the dish itself look a deconstructed fajita. The huevos rancheros actually look more like chilaquiles themselves. A bit disappointed but somewhat flavorful. The sauce was too runny almost like water.

I got the sense that this restaurant caters to a white-American diet especially when I saw balsamic vinegar and cherry tomatoes on...

We went in last Sunday for brunch. The food was great and delicious, but the service was quite poor as they forgot our food order even though we had a baby at the table and we had to enquire after almost 1 hour if they had our order and it seems they to them started making it. We got our meal almost 2 hours after getting in. The owner did apologize once he came almost 1.5 hours to see us still waiting for food once I got his attention. Because it was so late, our friends with the baby are just half their meal and had to get the food to go. I ate my Mollete special quickly, and the food was tasty indeed, but I was disappointed it took so long. The owner did comp us by taking off the hot chocolates from the bill which was appreciated. Overall, the food was great and well presented, but the service tarnished...

Café Y Chocolate 📍1532 Snyder Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19145 . . . Our last brunch of 2024. It’s been a while since we visited this Mexican restaurant. We love their food and their cafe con leche, do not forget to order the churros for dessert. So lucky we found parking outside the restaurant. . . . #phillyfino #brunch #phillybrunch #brunchphilly #cafeychocolate #mexican #cafeconleche #huevosrancheros #phillyfood #philadelphia
