Chat On Chew — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Poor business ethics and practices. To date I’ve had 2 bad experiences with this restaurant. The first was an in person experience the second was via an order placed on the Ubereats platform. My in person experience I ordered fish and was given chicken and provided with an excuse and complaint that her husband irritates her because they own an event hall across the street and he allowed the patrons to stay overtime and she refuses to clean it so she was so frustrated she fixed the wrong order. Things happen decided to give this small business a second chance as we all deserve an opportunity to make amends, I ordered Swai fish platter and received whiting, no advance notice or forewarning. I ordered Mac and cheese and cabbage as my accompanying sides and was sent greens and sweet potatoes, in which I do not eat either. I called in a young man apologized explaining the chef just sent me whatever because the Mac was not done yet and he was about to get off. Explained they no longer sell Swai because the cost went up from $30 a case to $70 a case, not realizing that is not only false advertising and a bait and switch tactic, but it is also very deceptive in nature. So I really liked this place when they first opened but unfortunately lately they haven’t been accepting my order through grubhub for the last 5 times my wife kristal tries to order. Not to mention when we order they say they don’t have an item and then about 5 minutes later they’ll cancel our order. As well as the portions have changed. I’m deeply upset with this establishment, making an order is difficult, the establishment itself doesn’t look as maintained, the good portions changed and the customer service has went down hill. In the midst of a pandemic they should’ve been grateful for an work received and it was more of an attitude from the workers. Okay so yeah I looked at the google reviews & seen some good & bad but I wanted to see for myself this food is horrible I didn’t ask for rice on top of that the rice was soooooooo watery the macaroni watery too it’s like soggy noodles! The yams was hard and everything was suppose to come in a platter! I guess they didn’t have the mango lemonade so they sent me 3 sodas never called my phone to say they didn’t have it!
