Pete's Pizza — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I'm disabled so if I go down there and pick it up they have me standing there and they take all the doordash first whether I'm in the store first or not. If I ordered it takes an hour and a half to come. Last time they couldn't find the house . How, I'm on 68xxth and Woodland you are 60th and Woodland.. you have my address exactly how can you ask me if I'm on Woodland or off of Woodland.? The last time I called I was put on hold 3 times. I was rushed off the phone so fast I couldn't pay. I ordered my food. I want to play with my debit card she hung up on me before I could even get the word debit out. Call back to be put on hold just to pay. I was told I need to talk faster we have other customers... Please hold what you need, pick up or delivery.. click.. call back can I pay. You should have said that in the first place . I have to get doordash on my phone seems like that's the quicker faster easier way to go . Their grilled chicken salad it's so good. I ordered from the Wynnfeild even the Havorford store and 60th st stores is a bit better. I like their food their customer service is crazy. I've been in customer service 30 years half my life made manager at every store I've been at and I love helping people. I guess it's just time we're living in people are cranky disrespectful and un professional maybe overworked. Customers are never right now anymore. Am I going to lie about a custom to being disrespected because I don't treat people like that as a child of God. Anyway I don't have to spend my money here maybe I'll make better choices on what I eat. Ruined my whole night and I was still hungry. I'm not going to worry about it I'm going to pray about it. What's crazy is no competition around here its nowhere else to order that's why they get to treat people the way...

On June 28th about 10pm I placed and order. It came up to $51.xx for 2 chicken breast cheesesteaks and a mini turkey lover pizza. We paid by card other the phone. In a nutshell the food was disgusting. It taste nothing like Pete’s West or Pete’s near Frankford mini pizzas. I asked for the turkey on the pizza tastes like lunch meat with only 1 turkey meat. And the steak was bland and did not taste like chicken breast. It tastes like they used the frozen chicken meat and not actual chicken breast. Toppings were missing like ketchup, pickles, pepper and salt.

Service was an absolute nightmare. I place this order to the hotel I was visiting. Myself and my partner stayed in the lobby waiting for our food to arrive. I called at 11:20pm to check the status of my order. The woman that answered said the food would be leaving out shortly. Note that when the store close, it closes. There is no one there to make sure orders are delivered. We stayed in the lobby at the bar waiting for our food until about 2am- as we were having cocktails. The delivery driver noted that the food was left in the lobby. An absolute joke. We went to be hungry. The next day, June 29th, I called as soon as they opened. I informed them of the matter. Management offered a refund or reorder. To make things less of an headache, we had a reorder. That’s how I know the food is terrible. I picked it up to avoid the delivery driver from fabricating another story to keep the food. I would NEVER ORDER, EAT or SUGGEST this place not...

I'm so freaking angry and done with Pete's Pizza. THIEVING ASS SCAM ARTISTS!!! I order a steak Stromboli around 10 pm. The driver dropped off a pepperoni and sausage pizza. I immediately called the driver back but he ignored my calls. Then I called the store and a young lady tried to tell me I ordered the pizza but I have my confirmation email showing my Stromboli order. The lady then says "Oh I apologize, I got the order confused. I'll send your Stromboli out". 11pm, 12pm, no Stromboli. Now the store is closed and no one is answering the phone. I feel violated and had my money stolen by this establishment. I should not have been forced to settle for something I didn't pay for. Best believe, I will be paying the store a visit tomorrow to demand a refund. This is unacceptable of a business that my family has been ordering from for years and I will no longer patronize that business and I will make sure to pass the word on!
