Some people go travelling. Some people go to The Shore. My Summer Home is Citizens Bank Park. I love this place! Perhaps one of the best if not The Best stadium in all of baseball. I love the team too although they try our sports soul, Im with em through the thick and then cause I been there for both. The stadium is simply awesome. 360 degree views of the field no matter where you go. The food is great especially in Ashburn Alley. My favorite is Tony Lukes. For 2022, the added a Manco and Manco pizza. There really is not a bad seat in the house and most nights you can acquire or upgrade to premium seating at the ticket office. It's simply just a great way to spend a Spring or Summer night. After the game, you have excellent entertainment venues in Live Casino right across the parking lot or Xfinity Live across Pattison Ave., where you can get your eat or drink on. Additional upside to the stadium - easy to go to and from. Downside - like everything else in this world, it is ridiculously expensive so be prepared for your wallet to feel lighter and your credit card to feel heavier. For context - when I first started going, parking was $11.00 it has now doubled. A 16 oz beer has gone from $7.00 to $13.99. Also it cashless inside and the tickets are now mainly digital through the At The Ballpark app which can be a real pain in the posterior. Otherwise, I promise you, if you are fan of baseball, or baseball parks, you will...
Read moreCitizen Banks Park is the home of the Philadelphia Phillies and is a fantastic place to watch our nations favorite past time. My first ever visit was on the Fourth of July. The food was excellent, especially at Tony Luke's, a Philly Cheese Steak was the choice made for lunch. You may not believe it but the pricing for everything was very reasonable for a Major League event. Parking was under $20, the lunch I had was under $20 and the tickets were very reasonable at $34.99. The Ball Park is very clean, the view of the game was excellent, the design of the park is attractive, modern and sporty. The view of The city is also very beautiful. The pricing at the concession stands was competitive to other baseball events I had gone to. This event and venue is highly recommended for people of all ages. It was an...
Read moreMy family, daughters, son-in-laws and grandchildren attended last Saturday's game. As good baseball goes, it was a wonderful game, lots of runs, home runs and a Phillies win. However, I will never attend a Phillies game again, even though I have many times in the past. It is absolutely outrageous that fans can bring in very limited water and the price being so exsoratant to purchase, especially on an almost 100degree day. Actually, the executive staff should have considered GIVING bottled water away since there have been health warnings all over the news, and social media for days. It is constantly said how much the Phillies appreciate their fans...well it would be very nice if the higher ups show their appreciation, especially under such...
