Pina's Pizza — Restaurant in Philadelphia

My family and I came here rather late so it wasn't too busy, I mention this because I can't properly comment on the service, I haven't experienced it at peak hours. However what I can comment on is that the food arrived promptly and the individual who took our order was the sweetest lady this side of the Mississippi! The mozzarella sticks were what you would expect for a small pizza joint and the fries where basic but VERY tasty. When our strombolis arrived everyone at the table was flabbergasted by the size. We all made sure we mentioned to the waitress we ordered a small and when she assured us it WAS the small all of us at the table where taken aback. The food was tasty and the portion sizes where huge for how cheap everything was. It is very hard to find a please where you can feed a family of 4 a with appetizers AND 4 doggie bags and the whole thing ended up being around 40 dollars. their website is so misleading. Clicked on their specials and they have a pinas special where they offer a large pie, 20 wings and a 2 Liter of soda for $25.95. What a steal right ? I go to pick it up and they ring me up for around $46. I tried to explain that their website said the deal was listed for $25.95. 3 guys behind the counter looked at me like I had 3 heads. They asked where did I find that price. I proceeded to walk them thru their own website bc of how clueless they were. The guy said we don’t have a menu on google… WHAT? so they basically haven’t updated their online specials/menus for years and they would not honor the 25.95 price. First time I've tried Pina's. The chicken cacciatore, at least the mushrooms, had a freezer-burned taste to them. I couldn't tell if it was just the mushrooms or the sauce as a whole. The spaghetti was fine though so I think that is added to the frozen sauce and therefore it tasted fresher. I didn't care for the dish at all because of the freezer flavor though. The cream of mushroom soup was DELICIOUS!!! I would buy that by the gallon and I will say that the garlic bread was very good.
