I see I am not thee only one with a customer service complaint. I walked in to order. I asked for a fresh 8 PC . I was a distance from my home. I didn't think it would become a problem. I was willing to wait the 20 mins. and after all I am a paying customer. The Staff including the " 2 managers" and I used the term loosely began an entire conversation with the staff about my request. Which was demeaning and poor leadership. All because I asked for fresh chicken. I brought it to their attention. I asked them did they think it was ok to talk about the customer in front of the customer? A paying customer at that. All because I want to pay for fresh chicken. At that point the rest of the staff except 1 young man. Chimed in to further the disrespect. No one wore name tags except the cashier. I asked the cashier for the managers name they both ran to the back. She looked around and refuse to give any names. The cashiers name is Lesli. After a few minutes the assistance manager comes from the back. I look at her badge to get her name in that moment another work stands in front of her so I couldn't see it. She then starts to ball up her first and Crack her knuckles.. lol. I guess she was about to fight the glass or the chicken. All of this behavior because I asked for fresh chicken. They continued to mock and talk about me. I see from the reviews this is normal behavior for this location. I IMMEDIATELY CALLED CORPORATE. The attitudes were in unison " I am not worried about it" they all said it. The manager of the store did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!! I think he is scared of them. They did not understand nothing should of been said at all. The staff kept repeating we arent talking about you. We are talking amongst ourselves. Smh but about the customer I replied. They refuse to stop mocking and it turned into a bully type situation. I am GLAD I AM A CHRISTIAN AND THE LORD KEEPS ME AND PROTECTS ME! I called corporate Ivy was very helpful. He took the report. I don't want to see anyone fired. They need to be re-trained. They also need to be broken up. They are all learning bad habits from one another. I hope the District Manager sees this!! This location is walking only. I went in one day to get a meal for my grandson and the only reason why I was going was because I received a coupon in my circular that week. When I was next up in line I told the young lady I had a coupon and was about to order my food until she interrupted me and said they no longer take coupons. When she said that, I asked her "when did y'all stop taking coupons because I've never heard of that before"? She stated, " Today". She gave no other explanation except that.
I'm very upset and irritated because gas prices and food prices are rising everyday and I can hardly get a meal on the fly because it's so expensive. The only reason why I went was because there was a coupon that I could use to be able to afford the meal that day. I am complaining because there was never a physical notice posted that Popeye's Chicken was never accepting coupons ANYMORE!!! After she said that I walked out and then I purchase anything. There was no manager on the floor at the time and I did not ask for one. I was so deterred I just left because that was the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard in my life. Also there was no sign on the door stating that either so how would the public know? I am very upset and would like something done about that. Read moreIt’s Popeyes people. The food is ok however, the attitude of the employees is just plain ol’ crazy. I’ll never forget the time that I received phenomenal service at the McDonalds on 2nd & Lehigh Ave. If only one (1) employee at this Popeyes had just a hint of decency in their attitudes…I just might have given another star. It’s just leaves me confused as to why the employees here won’t smile, won’t greet customers in a nice manner and won’t even say thank you…something small and expected. Oh well, I’ll never go into this one again simply because people, that are spending money, deserves to be treated a heck of a lot better.
