Food was good. The lady who owns/manages this place was great. I took off 3 stars because one of the male employees (not sure if he's a waiter or if he cleans tables) with dyed blonde hair and glasses is a straight jackass. My friends and I were finishing up with our food and this employee came to our table and said "we need to start cleaning up". We apologized and asked for the check (even though there was still some time until closing). The guy literally (I kid you not) started screeching, rolled his eyes back, and started marching angrily to get the check. We were a bit confused but when he came back a few seconds later with the check he said in the most disgustingly rude tone I've ever heard from any restaurant employee, "you guys decide when we get to go home tonight." Like seriously? There's still some time left until closing and it takes what, 1-2 minutes to clean our table? It's also your job to work UNTIL CLOSING. If you're that upset with your job then you should quit, not ruin customer's evenings with your ridiculously childish and unprofessional behavior.
I still tipped well because I wasn't sure if they split the tips at this place and our actual waiter was super nice, but this was absolutely ridiculous. He needs...
Read moreI will give them 10 stars if I could!!! This place is great. Staff is all over you the minute you come in to this roomy establishment. Really comfy booths. As soon as you sit they offer you water, tea or any beer (they have really good Asian beer brands). We had seen the menu online and we knew we wanted the Set A of barbecue (2 people). Don't be fooled by the small dishes, these guys know how to feed you well. Delicious salads and side dishes, tons of veggies, tempura shrimp and veggies, egg souffle (mega delicious) bibimbap (rice/veggies/sauce and egg , yummy) miso soup, and meats, delicious fresh and well marinated meats, pork, chicken , beef, a red spicy sausage that's so good. Tons of lettuce, cause you eat all these meats and sides in a "taco" style or not, up to you. The grill is on your table, so they come and cook right there. Hot tea was great to help digest all this food. You can also order from their regular menu that has tons of options for the less adventurous. The one thing you don't need here is patience: they serve you fast, no long waiting for your plate for a long time. Thank you to Jim our server and the wonderful ladies that also help cooking...
Read moreThis is the best Korean bbq I ever had in Philadelphia! We came in 4 people and were ordered the set for $168 serve 3-4. Everything came out so fast that we didn't even have much time to take pictures lol. We were so busy eating.
Everything starting from the miso soup, salad, side dishes and bibimbap, they were delicious. Especially the egg soufflé is to die for. I scraped every bit of it off the pot lol. And that one particular sauce, we all like it so much, it made with wasabi and/or sesame oil. It was so bomb when you dipped with grilled meats.
The set that we ordered came with a little bit of everything in the menu. We had pork ribs, ribeye, marinated chicken, pork, shrimp, squids, bulgogi, pork belly, and more.
Services are excellent! Staffs are very attentive and helpful. They cooked everything for us. All you have to do is eating lol. Everything was flavored perfect with the right amounts of food, we finished everything because it was so good.
I highly highly recommend this place! You won't be disappointed! It's definitely a hidden gem in North Philly, just right next door to the new H-Mart on N Front Street. We will definitely...
