Been at Suzani as a guest at a birthday party. Place looks nice and neat, staff is very welcoming and food was pretty decent but...the music was extremely loud so we couldn't even communicate to any guest at our table, music choice was poor and purposely selected for specific group of people, the female singer was lip singing the whole time even after mentioning that her microphone is not working. The tomatoes on the plate still had STORE BARCODE STICKERS on them therefore we questioned if they were even washed. Some cups that were brought on the rack still had COFFE GROUNDS STUCK TO THEM and the black tea looked like much much watered down and the PLOV rice was really undercooked It was out last visit to this place.

My boyfriend and I went here on a Sunday afternoon, to enjoy an early dinner. They had music videos on, on TVs above the bar. The menu was simple and limited. My bf and I ordered kabobs with rice bc the picture of the meal showed it that way. When we got the bill, we were told the rice was extra and didn't come with the kabobs. And the server added a 10% service fee, and couldn't explain what or why it was there. The food flavor was almost nonexistent for me, but my bf liked it. I don't think it's worth the money. Soups, kabobs, and juice for $75. Hell naw.

One of the best restaurant in Philadelphia. Always clean, fresh and delicious food, friendly staff, peaceful and professional management, beautiful interior. This restaurant is very good for family gatherings. The restaurant has good acoustics, you can communicate with each other and listen to music. The cuisine of this restaurant is varied: Central Asian, European and American food. The business is run efficiently and successfully by owner of the restaurant Daler Mahmudov. The restaurant is creative.

Finally I have some time to share my experience at this place which claims to be a restaurant. I decided( don’t know why) that I wanted to celebrate my birthday there, they just opened so I thought they will do their best to meet all my expectations. To begin with, it was a lot of food on our table, a lot of food but nothing to eat, if you know that feeling. We chose the banquet menu which includes appetizers- entries- dessert - drinks. That’s why we had a LOT of leftovers which every restaurant packs and gives it to you at the end of the night. But I will talk about this later. They never brought us clean plates, never before we asked. My guests were at the “restaurant “ around 9pm at 12pm it was nothing left on the table but fruits and a tiny tiny piece of cake. When my husband told to the owner that we are still here and still would like to have some food on the table, the waiters brought 2 plates of shish cabob back. For some reasons they decided that it’s time to pack our food already. The pastries that were supposed to be on the table together with the cake I brought - were never delivered. And I totally did not pay attention to that until we got home and realized that we did not try their promised delicious pastries. We went back the second day to get them. At the end of the night when we were ready to leave they brought our packed food, as I said before my guests did not eat too much(I guess they did not like the food) so we had a lot of leftovers. I was really surprised to see that they brought just 4 small containers of food. Even my friends were surprised. So I went to ask the waiter if this is all the food we get to take home, he said YES! For the first time in my life I opened containers to see what they packed, when the waiters noticed that I am checking containers they brought 5 more! Saying that it was a missunderstaning. I don’t know why they think if their customers had some drinks they can fool them! This is unacceptable!!!! When I was telling to my mom about our experience she said that same day when we were there she noticed other guest leaving very angry and arguing about food that they did pay for but which was never packed to be given to them! So we are not the only customers that they tried to fool. It makes me so angry! That’s not the way you run a business! Especially in the beginning. They just opened a week ago but already have a lot of complains. I hope they will rethink their whole business plan! When we went back the second day to get the pastries they apologized and promised next time they will do their best. It will NEVER be a next time, that I know for sure. And our drinks were never refilled until we asked for it, it’s not really big deal, but in comparison with all restaurants I’ve been before, they do it. Isn’t it the waiter’s job to pay attention if our table is fine, if we...

I hear some decent review for this place so I decided to book them for a major event of about a 100 people 7 weeks in advance. I made arrangements with one of their managers Daler, stopped by the restaurant one week ago to talk about my event and the menu. He promised to call me back and give me the price that same day. Its been over a week now, i still did not hear back from the restaurant. I called several times, Daler was not available. I left him several messages and still did not hear from him or the restaurant.

DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING with them as they are very IRRESPONSIBLE, DISRESPECTFUL and IGNORANT! Thank you Susani Palace for wasting my time!

7.23.18. Yes, your manager responded 5 days after I posted this review on line. And my decision was made in favor of one of your competitors, who responded promptly and gave me the service I expect.

Therefore you getting only one star review for now. I hope, I have a better experience next time should I decide to deal with you again. Thank...
