The Flavor Spot — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I visit the location on raising sun ave I customer service was absolutely Delicious I order jerk chicken platter with yams and cabbage the lady was nice to tell be about the other spot that they have on broad st so I decided to visit there yesterday 4/22/2023 I must say it was there worst experience I had the young lady with the red hair had the worst attitude when I walk in there was three people in line one was getting waited on the others was waiting she move so slow one decided to leave I stayed there because I really wanted this food I drove 30 mins to get there for some good food .....Once she got to me omg she was so NASTY (attitude) she act like I was brothing her when I ask for my platter of food say rolled her eyes stated there is no cabbage enough to fit in my large platter then he said u have to get rice I said I don't eat rice (I'm diabetic ) can I try your greens she side yea with a extra charge I stated ok ...I wanted to order another platter but the way she was putting my foot in the platter was ridiculous she was slamming the food in the food try with nothing but attitude I just paid for one and left that store so fast and went to Jamaican D's ...... When I said outstanding service just when I wanted to try another place never again I'm staying with Jamaican D's ....maybe she was having a bad evening but that was not good at all...... plus to say when I got home my collard was not done and maybe that way they was still in the pot in the back on the stove because they were still cooking and she didn't care what...

I used to frequent this location when the older lady worked there…no problems. As of recently when I order with this new staff there’s been an issue each time. For example , the rice is mushy as if it’s old and/or overcooked. I ordered online with delivery a few months ago and my Mac and cheese was super runny. I was told that it just came out of the oven. How!? It was runny like liquid. I was told that the next time I ordered I could get new Mac and cheese. Who’s gonna order again just for Mac that they messed up? I took a break and said let me try again. I ordered today and paid for a side of yams. I get home and the yams are not in the bag. I call and was told to come back for them. I’m sorry who’s going back out for an item that they neglected to put in the bag. I’m home now!? I was told that they can’t give me a refund despite having my order number because they don’t know how to do that and the boss doesn’t live in PA. WTH!? How are you running a business and can’t fix when you mess up!? As I’m expressing that this is an issue the person hung up on me. Horrible service!? So much for attempting to support this...

I used to really love this place but it has really fallen off I come all the way from South Philly at least two to three times a week to get food from there each time customer service gets worse and worse one time I waited over an hour just for macaroni and cheese. I was so silly to come back ordered my food and had to wait almost 45 minutes because they were waiting on cabbage today I went there and service was awful if it's supposed to open at 11:00 why did I have to wait outside until 12:15 then I went in and the lady turned her back on me and said she didn't have any food ready when I was already told to go in and place my order. I will never ever ever go back to that place again to be treated that way turn your back on me and say nothing's done but white rice what kind of mess is that not on that I waited outside for you until 12:15 when you're supposed to be open at 11:00 this is why businesses tend to fail lousy customer service if you call on the phone they are very rude!!!
