Lawncrest Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Terrible service and menu items apparently different then the food you actually get. I ordered 5 chicken strips on Uber eats and after fees it ended up being about $9. A little pricey for chicken strips but still not to bad considering. When receiving them I was already a little disappointed seeing how small they were but it's to be expected. Then I noticed there were only 4. Of course I ate them anyone I got them to share with my bf for chicken and waffles I was not going to wait 30 minutes again for my waffles to get cold. So after, I decided to call the restaurant. When I called I told them I ordered chicken strips and only received 4 instead of 5. The women proceeded to tell me there are 4 per order. I let her know the menu on uber eats says five. She screamed 4 pieces at me a couple times then said she would check. I checked again also order history, still 5 pieces. She then scream 4 pieces 4 pieces and said I see it right here. I argued with her for a couple minutes and told her again it says five. I soon realised I wasn't getting anywhere with this conversation so I said goodbye and hung up as she continued to scream 4 pieces. Never got new strips wouldn't recommend ordering...

DO NOT ORDER FROM OR EAT IN THIS DIVE. Ordered their New York Stip with eggs. Ordered eggs scrambled with cheese. Ordered steak medium rare. What I got was horrible. Was supposed to be two eggs scrambled....was more like one egg and they just waved the cheese at it. The steak was well done, burnt, and inedible. I called the retaraunt to complain and they flat out told me they cooked the steak well done ON PURPOSE because that is how they do steak. They offered to redo but stated they steak will be well done because that is how the kitchen makes it. They refused to do any kind of refund and there was no way I was going to wait ANOTHER 45 mins for overcooked steak and terrible eggs again. The ONLY thng they did not screw up was the plastic bag my order arrived in. Not even going to talk about the undercooked home fries and barely toasted toast with out of date butter that looked like it had been melted and re-refrigerated at...

Horrible, walked in it was empty the owner was by herself and was making all the food herself.. a bunch of uber drivers came in for orders and was definitely her first priority, there was one hostess who was on the phone the whole time and you could tell the owner was frustrated because she kept yellin at her you could hear her from the front of the restaurant. Me and my friend ordered omelets 45 mins later mines came out and I specified that I did not want any hash browns the hostess came out with one plate with a flat omelet and nothing barely in there eggs was runny and a side of hashbrowns I told her before she put the plate down she took it and obviously scraped the hashbrowns off the plate had to get up and leave after wasting a hour of our time and rushed food horrible experience never...
