Krush Lounge — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I came here twice and both times were not good. The first time, my friend and I came in and sat at the bar. We sat there for 20 minutes waiting for a bartender to acknowledge us. It never happened. They (yes more than one working) stayed down towards the other end serving and talking to others they seemed to know. We eventually got up and left since we weren't getting served and the ridiculously loud music was unbearable. My heart was literally beating out my chest. Even after getting in the car parked down the street we could still hear the music.

The second time, I came because a friend of a friend was hosting a fish fry to raise money so I decided to support. The bartender wasn't friendly. I wasn't looking for her to be my friend but her attitude shouldn't make me feel like I'm a burden and annoying her by simply being a customer and ordering a drink. The taste of the food was average but barely warm. My friend purchased a hookah and the coal burned out. They charge $5 for a new coal. You can buy a pack of coal for that amount. I understand a business needs to profit but don't try ripping people off. This establishment just isn't a good...

The Bartender is cool at times. She can be moody at times which isn’t professional for business. The Server Swears me or any other guy wants to try to talk to her(Not to mention the thirst/ attention outfit she has on) I just would like to order my food and I get the whole I gotta boyfriend saying..... like I’m I just wanna order food. Smh then her attitude makes her seem like she don’t even wanna work there very unprofessional. This place is hit or miss depending on the type of night. But overall is cool the food is good. The service can be better and less problematic. Oh an the last time I’ve visted there seems to be a weird smell in there... not to sound Funny but smells like a hospital/women who ain’t clean properly in there. Only but some much I can take until I gotta leave. But for the ppl that are there I guess once there drunk enough or tipsy the smell doesn’t matter. But all an all this spot is Okay Good Food for the most part. Improvement needed in other areas. But I’d go back for food an Maybe once they fix that smell I’d go happy hour...

Went Thursday night around 10. There were maybe 7 people in the bar but after security checked me I was told I couldn’t come in unless I was there for the event. The new security guard said he wasn’t sure but this chick with a bbl and “baddies” shirt on said the place was for an event. Why check me & waste my time? I left but then saw another regular go in right after me and they did not turn him away. I go here at least 1-2 times a month and spend a $100 or more. I will not be going back due to unfair treatment. No wonder this bar is constantly empty now. There’s better bars around with better customer service - particularly...
