Barro's Pizza — Restaurant in Phoenix

Best pizza in town hands down. I personally love their original crust pepperoni or sausage, jalapeno, extra cheese pizza. I recommend and force my friends to try their pizza every opportunity I get. Literally all of them have been pleasantly given the shocker of their pizza lives. Whenever I have the time to dine in I take the opportunity as a blessing from the gods like those wack woke tranny's position on gender reassignment. Nothing ever felt so right and justified. Like eating ice cream in bed with a giant wooden spoon I feel at home here. I remember the first time I came in like a stray after a long day at work, sick of burgers and needing something new, Kelsey (hope I spelt that right) from the moment I stepped inside greeted me with a warm smile and assured me I was going to be taken care of. I noticed her sense of urgency and professionalism immediately. I never have felt rushed whatsoever despite the speed she operates at as a standard. Talk about a multitasker with a purpose, if I could clone her I'd pay top dollar because it would take 3 ppl at minimum to do the amount of work she puts in. Consistency speaks volumes and her energy is on point every single time I've came in, bright attitude, quick, engaging, friendly, delegates work to be done to fellow employees who respond and seem to respect her. Like... Give this girl a raise! She absolutely deserves it, the place is always clean, people are always happy to see her and chat for a few (seems a lot of customers enjoy saying hi). I really am at a loss of words for how much of a role model star employee she is. She sets the bar high and is committed to the cause like an Olympic fat boy trying to finish their cake for gold. Okay I'm totally ignoring my buddies writing this but it's well deserved, I've got 15 yrs xp in fine dining and I've watched how she operates, attention to detail, head on a swivel, and her PR and i would sleep like a baby knowing I had this captain at the helm. 100%. Nuff said. No hesitation. She got the skill, the attitude, the energy, and drive of a leader. I'd follow blindfolded even if she were my ex and hated me. Love this pizza gem. But who am I? If ONLY I could give no stars I would. When calling to have pizza delivered a worker or manager whatever he is named Andy. He provided horrriblyyyyyy customer service. He just sits there blank and quiet on the phone.You don't even know hes there most of the time, you have to keep saying hello. Then on top of it they charged my card 3 times and I'm trying to talk to him to let him know whats going on he just keeps interrupting like sir did your mother not teach you how to have a conversation or common courtesy to not interupt when someone speaking; did your teachers, employers....nobody...???

He states he only charged me once. I Called the bank they stated that Barros did charge me twice and i had to file a claim. He wants to hand up abruptly once more and I have to call back once more because I want done speaking.........like what's really going on up there

They delivered another one which was beautiful, but the driver wants to have horrible customer service too. I say hello he doesnt day nothing but hands me the pizza.....I'm like hello....He's mad because I didnt tip.HELL NAW I'm not tipping especially not after all that horrible service you gave and all you put me through and then on top of it had the nerve to say come get my pizza at the car instead when your standing right here. Sir dont get mad at me. I did not tell h to pickthis profession.I see this is hiw they just run their business there.

2/21/24 update... Not much change. No cashier to take an order when waiting at the counter. Then she does not listen to the order after i tell her what i want. Then wants me to sign a credit card receipt upside down. Clearly customer service is lacking. Salad bar is still unaccesible, so no way to make ones own salad. Every empty table in the dining room is dirty. Moved the dirty dishes to have a place to sit. I will wait another year to check back to see if things change. However so far the place is worse than it used to be before remodling. It also took 25 minutes to get a sandwich. Previously... It's been a year since coming in. It used to be great. Not really worth it now. With limited time for lunch, you have to wait for a person to assemble their idea of what you want on your salad instead of making it yourself. By the time it arrives your pizza slice is cold. The plastic utensils are a joke to use. Maybe another year's wait is in order. Not...
