Very orthodox parish. I attended years and years ago under a previous, older priest (Larry?) and never returned. Once Fr. Don Kline was appointed pastor we tried it again. We know him personally and has proven to be an excellent, orthodox, faithful, and gentle priest. He has implemented a much more faithful and liturgically precise Mass. They even do the Gloria in Latin! Good parish for parishioners in their twenties to fifties. Go try it out! You won't be disappointed!
Update (7/1/19): Fr. Don has been moved to pastor the neighboring parish but has been replaced by Fr. Dan Cannelli. A young and dedicated priest. Really like him. The associate pastor - Fr. Daniel Cruz - is the most joyful priest I have ever known!
Update 2023: New pastor Fr. Daniel Cruz is amazing. Truly joyful priest. Very orthodox. The choir is more traditional in style. Won't be "wowed" by the experience but overall reverent experience at Mass and the community takes the Mass seriously. People are very nice and like to talk afterwards. Safe place to raise children...
Read moreBecause of this church I have chosen to change religions. My father was in the hospital, he was told he would not make it overnight however it’s been 3 weeks and he is still here. Father Cornelius saw my dad in the hospital and gave him his blessing and said my sister would be able to do an emergency baptism as it was one of my dads wishes. We were told to get in touch with miss Laura to further assist as the father was going out of town. Our family has been through a lot with my father being diagnosed with cancer and miss Laura has made it impossible to have my sister baptized even though the father said we could proceed as this was emergent. She has given our family the round around wanting everything to be perfect despite it being an emergency. We finally got all the forms we needed and now she’s making more excuses. I have really lost my faith bc of her. Thanks to her my dads last wishes will not be completed as his health has drastically declined. Please do not attend this church they do not care our...
Read moreJust finished an Easter service at St. Joan of Arc. I have to say, this was not what I expected. The litters of children created a jungle gym type vibe(Everyone around our family felt the same). The pastor also seemed very off. Their were parts of his sermon that didn’t seem connected, and at times, he just had a loss for words. There was also about a 6 minute straight(not exaggerating) portion where he sang his words. For those of us who are catholic, this isn’t out of the norm. But, this was taken to a new level. People around us began to giggle and hold their heads down in laughter. Especially as his diaphragm was wearing and voice began to crack. All in all, we found too many distractions to consider coming back to St. Joan of arc for our...
