3.7/5 Stars – A Solid Meal with Room for Improvement I visited Blue Pacific Super Seafood Hibachi Grill Buffet, quite a tongue twister, right? When I arrived, I asked for a table for one. They told me the price was $21.48 and handed me the receipt immediately. At first, I was confused. Turns out, you pay upfront here. Fair enough. But then they gave me the receipt back with a tip line… before I even started eating. Now, here’s the conundrum: How do you tip for a meal you haven’t had yet? What do you all think do you tip beforehand? That said, the service was fantastic. Everyone was very kind and welcoming, and the staff checked on me multiple times throughout my meal to ensure I had everything I needed. Anyway, I sat down and started my buffet experience. Here’s a breakdown of my plates: Plate 1: Mystery Sushi No labels on the sushi rolls, so I’ll call it “mystery sushi.” It was pretty good overall solid flavors, but I wish I knew what I was eating. (See Picture A) Rating: 4/5 Plate 2: Seafood Assortment Salmon, crab, coconut shrimp, breaded shrimp, and Cajun shrimp this plate was excellent! The coconut shrimp was especially fantastic, and the salmon was surprisingly flavorful. (See Picture B) Rating: 5/5 By the way, I arrived at exactly 6 PM, and the restaurant was fairly empty just me and a few other diners. But by 6:20, it started getting surprisingly crowded. Plate 3: Teriyaki Chicken & White Rice This plate was disappointing. The chicken was bland, and the texture wasn’t great. (See Picture C) Rating: 1/5 Plate 4: Hibachi I had high hopes, but it tasted like it was cooked in low-quality, burnt oil. (See Picture D) Rating: 1/5 Plate 5: Fruit Plate No photo here, but it was your standard buffet fruit plate with honeydew, orange slices, and mandarins. Refreshing, but nothing extraordinary. Rating: 4/5 One surprising omission: no ice cream. I always look forward to a nice cold dessert after a buffet meal, so that was a bit disappointing. Final Thoughts Overall, I’d rate this buffet 3.7 out of 5 stars. It wasn’t amazing, but it wasn’t terrible either. The standout for me was the excellent service everyone was so kind and attentive, which added to the experience. If I’m in the area, I’d consider coming back. Advice for Management 1. Label all food items. Guests should know what they’re eating. 2. Improve the bathrooms. They could use a deep clean and some maintenance. A solid meal, with fantastic service, but with a few tweaks, it could be much better.

I WOULDNT RECCOMMEND THIS PLACE.. MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE BEEN COMING HERE FOR A YEAR AND A HALF NOW AND IN THE TIME I GOT SICK 3 TIMES. I I kept thinking to myself no it seems like a very nice place I don't think it was their food so I would keep returning and then after this third time that I've been sick I it's proof that it's from this buffet. LAST MONDAY NIGHT I WENT THERE WITH MY HUSBAND AND NEPHEW 7/29/2019 800pm I HAD SUSHI AND MONDAY NIGHT WHEN I GOT HOME I HAD BAD DIARRHEA TUESDAY I WAS WEAK AND I WAS IN THE HOSPITAL WEDNESDAY ALSO I STAYED IN BED THURSDAY I ENDED UP BACK IN THE HOSPITAL WITH A BAD INFECTION IN MY STOMACH FRIDAY. THEY DID A CT SCAN TO GET THIS INFORMATION. MY MY BODY WAS GETTING 100.7 TEMPERATURE NONSTOP FOR 3 DAYS BY THE 4TH DAY I WAS A 102.1 I WAS BACK IN THE HOSPITAL. I WAS GIVEN DOSES OF ANTIBIOTICS TO FINALLY GET THE INFECTION TO CALM DOWN AND MY FEVER HAD SLOWED DOWN. THE SECOND TIME I GOT SICK I HAD A VERY BAD SORE THROAT LASTED ME ALMOST 2 WEEKS AND THE LADY AT THE SUSHI BAR AFTER WE HAD ATE I HAD NOTICED IT SHE WAS COUGHING ALL OVER THE SUSHI AND BY THEN I HAD TOLD A MANAGER THAT I WOULD NOT ALLOW HER TO COOK MY HIBACHI GRILL AND THEY SHOULD SEND HER HOME SURE ENOUGH I HAD GOTTEN SICK. THE FIRST TIME WAS FROM THERE CRAWFISH AND NOW AFTER ALL THIS TIME I FINALLY HAVE PROOF THAT THEY ARE NOT SANITIZED IN THEIR SEAFOOD AT ALL.ON TOP OF IT ALL THEIR SERVERS ARE VERY MEAN LOOKING THERE WAS ONLY ONE VERY NICE LADY THERE AND SHE NO LONGER WORKS THERE NAME WINNIE. TIME TO FIND A NEW PLACE WITH NICER PEOPLE AND DEFINITELY CLEAN FRESH SUSHI. MY HUSBAND AND I ARE ONLY HERE FOR A LITTLE TIME FOR SCHOOL AND WILL BE MOVING HOME TO THE WHITE MOUNTAINS IN MAY WHERE WE HAVE A CHINESE BUFFET THAT WE GO TO FOR OCCASIONS AND IN THE TIME HERE IN PHOENIX WE TRY TO MEET GREAT PEOPLE FOR THE SAME SERVICE BACK HOME WHICH DID NOT TURN OUT WELL.

For this particular experience, the Blue Pacific Seafood Buffet gets two stars. Unfortunately, the food was cold, the chicken was burned, and the customer service was atrocious. Please be prepared to pay in advance and given an option to pay the tip towards the end. For a family party of 4, plus 4 sodas are $62.08 tax is included in the price. Please keep in mind this was lunch prices. I had the menu in the pictures. The soup was warm and pretty good. The best thing was the Sprites. Again, if you follow me, you know I only give high praises to places where the food is 4 or 5 stat worthy. I gave it two stars because of the soup and fried rice. This is a no for me, and I have no desire or plans to return.

If I could rate 0 I would. Went there today with my family and had the worst experience ever. The waitress continuously was reaching over the table while we were eating, rushing to clear the plates. At one point she went to sit to go eat herself and kept getting up in the middle of her meal again to reach across our table and clear the plates without washing her hands or anything, totally unsanitary. Alot of the food looked like it was left over from the previous day and mixed with new food. As one of the workers opened the door for the back kitchen, I could see all the gross caked up floors. It was filthy. I was heading back to the table to meet with my family when I noticed that the rude waitress had rushed to clear off our table while they were going for dessert, saying how the table was empty. The table had been empty a few times as we were getting food and she didnt clear it. At this point my family and I were over it, as well as my husband was telling me that there was a huge visible hair in the ice cream and when he told the staff, they said they would get someone. I will not be returning to this place ever again. I have never been so grossed out or felt so rudely rushed before at a restaurant and then they have the nerve to expect a tip for the horrible service and cleanliness. This place used to be good and I hadnt been there in a long while but this was the worst experience ever and isnt...
