Halo-Halo Kitchen, Thanks a lot to (“Mileth & Suzanne” I hope I write it correctly!) We had a wonderful and delicious feast here! Pork Dinuguan - cooked with pork blood Goat Kaldareta - Pancit Bihon - Rice Noodles Shanghai - Lumpia with pork & veggies Por Adobo - Cooked with Pork, soy sauce & vinegar Natural Cantaloupe 🍈 Icee! Banana Lumpia And I forgot the name of the dessert that had Sweet potato, Jackfruit and I think Coconut Milk… Everything was exquisite!!! I will suggest it to everyone and definitely worth it! Great service, great food, great quantity and affordable prices!

Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you! Inside, you'll find a surprisingly well-maintained kitchen, a small selection of Filipino groceries, and a clean, spacious dining area. They offer both ready-made dishes and a short-order menu, and the service was quick. My wife and I enjoyed the chicharon bulaklak, lechon kawali, and adobo rice. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The chicharon bulaklak, a rare find, is a particular draw for me. We'll definitely be back!

Second time to visit. First time coming after spending 5 days in Cebu. Ordered a small spread of items and a plate of adobo fried rice. We loved lumpia Shanghai as a starter. The lechon was kawali style which was fried cubes. They only do the full Cebu style lechon periodically so this was the only option. We saw available. It was good but couldn’t stand up to what we had on our trip. The fried rice was great with tender flavorful pork and balanced garlic.

Service has gone down since they hired Bing. Bing always seems to have a problem with me. Bing does not care about what I want. She cares about what she wants.

I'm craving some Kare-Kare right now, but I don't want to have to deal with Bing. I usually get the same thing every time I visit. I have to drive over 20 miles one way to get there, so I usually don't hold back when I order. I get Kare-Kare, Lechon Kawaili, with extra Bagoong, and an extra scoop of rice.

Sometimes, I forget to ask for the extra scoop of rice and Bing will dump the already scooped rice back into the cooker, and dole out 3 smaller scoops of rice. So, I'm not really getting an extra scoop, just the same amount of rice divided into 3.

When it comes to the extra Bagoong I asked for, Bing will tell me there is no need, because there is already extra. I have no idea what she means by that, but she will just serve me the standard portion of Bagoong.

Once, Bing got passively aggressive with me telling me I should have corrected her mistake when she was putting my Kare-Kare into a styrofoam container instead of into the plastic bowl they use for dine-in customers. Honestly, I wasn't looking, as Bing is not a personable person. She doesn't really smile and acts like she hates me most of the time. I assumed she knew what she was doing and didn't expect to he reprimanded for not ensuring she was doing things correctly.

When I went there last week, they didn't have any Lechon Kawali ready. She said it would be ready in 5 minutes and that she would bring it out to me. 5 minutes went by and I see there is still no Lechon Kawali available. That's okay, as I can just kill some time playing games on my phone. I wait for all current customers to leave the line and finally decide to approach the counter after 15 minutes. I stand there and Bing gives me a quick glance and decides to not acknowledge me. She instead goes off to the side of the counter and has a 2 minute conversation with someone leaving. I then ask if the Lechon is still cooking and if not, I'll just take some Pork Adobo. She apologizes, and serves me the Pork Adobo.

Today is a Wednesday and I have Wednesdays off, so I was craving some Kare-Kare again, knowing there won't be any tomorrow as their menu changes daily. I've decided not to drive the 20 miles to get there only to be ridiculed, ignored, and disrespected. I wish Diane and the owner's younger son were working the front...

Halo Halo kitchen has gone through owners over the last 20+ years but us still the place to go to get the Best Filipino food on the west side of town. Typical Filipino menu with the usual items (adobe, pancit, dinaguan, menudo, etc) and others that rotate throughout the week but the best part is that employees are not stingy with their portions. Their made to order food from the grill is always fresh, hot and delicious. Sarap!

Their catering is not cheap but you get what you pay for. Still the go to place to get a fresh lechon with multiple size options for that special party you ate hosting.

They have recently transformed their bar into an ice cream shop with the best native flavors plus some great Thrifty Ice Cream choices. Their Halo Halo and boba made it an easy choice when naming this place.

Several large TVs with Filipino channel or sporting events. They also provide non food services like bank to bank transactions and balikbayan shipping.

The only negative for this family run restaurant is the space is pretty small and can be crowded on weekends. Please remember this isn't the Philippines and if there are only two of you, please show some manners and don't take up a table for 6.

On a side note PLEASE don't forget to tip manang she does a great job cleaning tables and taking our dirty dishes...
