Bobazona — Restaurant in Phoenix

I really try and support local business' first and my biggest thing for any establishment is customer service because that's basically a deciding factor sometimes if i go back or not. My daughter is a big Boba fan and has been asking me to try this place so I decided we would try it. We walked in and there was a gentleman cleaning the tables mind you we r the only 2 customers in there... and the guy said nothing to us. He was busy, I guess, talking to his son. We walked toward the menu because we have never been there before and it was STILL JUST US... no one to help, give advice, ask us questions like zero customer service not even from the man that was cleaning the tables... not once did he acknowledge us and it wasn't like it was super busy or he was cleaning up after a party just had no interest in keeping NEW customers. Once the other girl came out to help... she really wasn't want better. I actually asked for suggestion and she have me NONE. I totally get it you're busy and just need to hurry thru service but my daughter and I were the ONLY ONES. We finally it thru our drink order and we're waiting for our drinks and 2 women walk in and the same guy that was too busy to acknowledge me and my daughter had all kinds of time n energy to say hi welcome am of they needed help deciding if they had any questions...wow. so needless to say, although I picked myself a pretty good drink... my daughter and I will not be returning. If you bang appreciate ALL your LOCALS... you clearly don't need MY money....

10/12/24: tried this location for the first time this particular Saturday. It immediately put a smile on our faces as there was a waving boba drink blow-up thingy outside. :-) It's a fairly new location off the Loop 202 which means it was a very pristine place -- there is still quite a bit of construction happening in the strip mall area but there is definitely a ton of available parking.

The gal behind the counter was very friendly and their interior decor was very cool -- I loved the Legos plants! So cool. A couple tables had chess boards on them, with all the pieces (hopefully no one ruins that).

This locale actually had gelato, although we only ordered boba drinks. One reason we really enjoy Bobazona is that they have H-U-G-E 32 oz beverages. Of course, that means when you order a 32 oz Thai tea late in the afternoon, you may be up all night. LOL!

Next time we go -- and we will because they have a punch card program for free drinks! -- I will have to remember to take pics of the drinks. So happy to have Bobazona...

Unpleasant and disappointing experience on 10/8.

I have been a long time customer of Bobazona. I have been visiting the location in Laveen since it opened. The individual's who have been there the longest know my order the moment I walk in the door and are always super friendly.

It saddens me to have to write this review since it’s always been pleasant experiences but I have sent an email to Bobazona on the same day of the incident to keep the matter private but I have not received a response till this day.

The new African American young lady was very unprofessional and asked about my boyfriends medical condition while other customer were there. My boyfriend let her know it was a skin condition and instead of apologizing for her imprudence said ”everyone knows I talk too much”.

I am disappointed to know Bobazona does not have a training in place for disability/health conditions to avoid customers from having a bad...
