Lunch Time — Restaurant in Phoenix

Another fantastic lunch meal at the Lunch Time Cafe! I have been going here for the last 15 years, and every time I leave, I have a smile on my face! This small cafe run by the owner and his wife is really the thing that small business is about, that you won't get at the big sandwich shops. It starts with a smile and greeting as soon as you walk through the door and continues with the vast menu of delicious sandwiches they have to offer. Today was the first day that my fiancé had a chance to visit. She was able to break away from work to come have lunch with me. She had a Ruben on rye, and I had my favorite, the #3. After we left, she told me that was the best Ruben she had in a VERY long time...as always, my #3 was made with the fresh sub rolls I have come to know them for, and very generous servings of meat, and cheese topped with delicious and fresh vegetables. Had lunch at this place for the first time and I absolutely loved it. Store is family owned, I was welcomed with a friendly smile by a lady who took my order who made sure the order was right and communicated with me to ensure my order was correct and the way I wanted it. Quality of food was fantastic, sandwiches had soft bread, lots of meat and was fresh good meat. We tried two soups broccoli and cheddar and cheddar potato I believe and they were both delicious and homemade, I was more than pleased! Prices were also fairly priced, the only improvement would be the dining room needs a little update but for me it's the food and service that matters the most and cleanliness of course which the store had no problem with. I stopped here on a Friday morning while waiting for my cars windows to be tinted. The cashier greeted me and answered a couple questions about the menu

I decided on the #14. Roast Beef and cheese. It is fantastic. A good amount of roast beef with all quality and fresh ingredients. The bread is excellent too. I also got a soda both for under $10. I had enough to bring some home. They even boxed it up for me.

This is a very cool place with high quality tasty food. The service is quick and super friendly. It is decorated nicely and very clean.
