I wish to give a minus star, please don’t waste your mood & money here. Food is bad, stinky environment, bad interior and sitting arrangement. Service is terrible. We were super hungry and still didn’t enjoy food. We ordered lamb kabob, chicken, goat biriyanis, kheer and achari chicken and garlic naan chaat to eat there and to go, Achari chicken has no achari flavor, home cooking is much better than it, it was the worst chicken I had at any restaurant, so was the lamb kabob, kheer was so watery, and bad taste. Garlic naan was the worst, how can someone run a restaurant with this terrible cooking and frauding? Most importantly, what they show you as menu is not the real price, when u get overwhelmed with the low price and order too many items, and they bill u $84. My husband didn’t notice and paid it and after looking at the receipt when I asked them they said price is on the tiny tab, menu price is incorrect, they changed it for covid a year ago! How on earth someone can know without communicating that to you, they rob you openly, and then you wait if the food justifies the price, bingo , it came as a complete blunder.
This guys are cheaters on food, environment, service, ambience and quantity nothing is good. STAY AWAY OF THIS PLACE. AZ food dept should raid this place for deceiving customers like this, v v v very bad business practice. I really wish they stop getting business, they wasted my hard earned money, wont ever go back and asking requesting everyone to no waste...
Read moreGoogle should probably introduce zero ratings for people like this. We regularly go there for snacks, like every other day, we ordered for samosa and after 30 mins of wait time we got our samosa over fried and are black in color. Chat masala was sprayed on samosa. It was clearly over cooked. Samosas were too hard to even break and they are altogether black in color, i don't have to tell about samosa edges color. The person (old man) who served us called some one in kitchen, looks like a cook but later realized that he is Owner of the Restaurant. He was too rude to me saying that, "if you don't like it throw it" On top that he said the black color was chat Masala as if we never saw how samosa looks like and chat manasal looks like. For any business, customer should be treat fair. If attitude is good, people don't care even food is not okay.. I was surprised to see a Owner/cook speaking like that. My friend who is with me was a regular customer for snacks and he said that is a very bad behavior with customer and he would never go to that restaurant again. Thanks for treating customers so respectful. Good bye Daawat.
I recommend Google to introduce...
Read moreDawat Restaurant in Phoenix is a must-visit for all food lovers! I had the pleasure of taking out at this restaurant and I was blown away by the delicious goat biryani and goat fry. The spices and flavors used in the preparation of these dishes were perfectly balanced, and the tenderness of the goat meat was truly remarkable. I have never tasted such an amazing biryani before, and I can honestly say that it was one of the best Andhra style biryani I have ever had.
But what really sets Dawat apart from other restaurants is their excellent customer service. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and welcomed by the friendly staff. They went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable and satisfied with my to go experience. The attention to detail and the personalized service made my visit truly memorable.
In conclusion, I highly recommend Dawat Restaurant to anyone who loves good food and great customer service.
