Loving Hut Glendale, AZ — Restaurant in Phoenix

I want to start this review by saying I arrived at Loving Hut in Glendale September 27, 2023 at around 11:30 AM with my mother immediately following her diagnosis of Colon cancer. Needless to say, we were devastated and having the worst day imaginable.

I suggested to my mother we come to this location after reading the Google reviews and I’m glad we did. Immediately upon entering the lobby, you are greeted to a cute, smiling cow with menus generously placed for the customers convenience.

The lobby is decorated beautifully by someone with excellent fashion sense and talent for upselling interesting vegan products. There were soaps, shirts and even books available for sale next to the cash register where you place your order. I saw one particularly interesting book called the “ABCs of being kind,” which I attached to this review with some photos.

On to the food, My mother ordered the Veggie Harmony soup, and Golden Rolls. While I ordered the Sweet and Sour divine with the Crispy Noodle dish to go. Everything was delicious. For the first time all day, my mother went from crying tears of sorrow to tears of happiness after one bite of the Golden Rolls.

The Veggie Harmony soup had a delightful spice to it that made it more enjoyable than most other Vegan soups I have had. My Sweet and Sour Divine was simply divine, with some of the best Textured Vegetable protein I have ever had; tasted like how I remember ribeye steak tasting from my dark days. Golden rolls had phenomenal texture and taste with a clean oil fry to them. An experienced palette can tell when dirty, old oil is used to fry things, and clearly our food was fried in fresh, clean oil which is greatly appreciated.

We had to get two of these chocolate fudge desserts along with 2 more Golden Rolls to-go and a few T-shirts as a souvenir of this overall amazing experience.

I have never seen such unmotivated customer service. I drove 30 minutes for their frozen vegan shrimp and when i didn't find any in the freezer, i asked the employee helping me if i may know when they get their next shipment. He then asked what i assume is to be the employee in charge, and she said they just received a new shipment last night but has no clue what it is. I stood in silence, wondering if any of them where going to even offer to look. After a moment of silence, I then asked if there is by chance a packet of frozen shrimp for purchase. The employee in charge then said "I have no clue, and we are really busy for mothers day so we may not even have time to stock the freezers. I also don't have a set of keys to unlock that freezer." I honestly couldn't believe her response. She had given me 3 excuses in 1 statement. I myself, came in on Saturday with my son on the day before mother's day and I can promise you, it was not busy at all. When she noticed how taken back I was by their unprofessionalism, she added "you can call us Monday or Tuesday to see if we have restocked the freezer. " I am clearly a committed customer if I was willing to drive 30 minutes just for 1 purchase and the head employee couldn't make the same effort. They sure made my...

Loving Hut in Glendale is truly amazing! Spectacular food & plenty of outstanding choices!

I have so many favorites here: The what up dawg The golden beauty The buddy burger The save the planet curry The amazing chickless The Mongolian beef The spicy cha cha The pandan cake The hibiscus tea

There's plenty of seating in the dining area, the selections of frozen food that you can purchase & take home are so delicious!

The staff is extremely personable & friendly! The food speaks for itself, truly delicious food prepared with love.

This is the only Loving Hut that has the what up dawg (vegan hotdog). This is the best vegan hotdog that I've ever had in my life.

Oh last but not least....the PANDAN CAKE is succulent, flavorful, light, moist, & it just melts in your mouth like butter! The frosting is perfect & not overly sweet. This cake is the perfect combination of mild flavors.

Glendale & Tempe are owed by the same family, & their customer service by far is the best in the valley! The menus differ slightly but nonetheless either location will exceed your expectations for sure!

So if you're thinking about going, don't think anymore just pay them a visit, your taste buds will love you for it!
